There is an unused spare port in the factory wire harness boot just slightly above and to the left of your left foot on the driver side firewall. You can’t see it because the existing harness blocks its view. If you pull down slightly you can easily see it. Then out under the hood there is a nipple sticking out and you cut the tip of it off and you can fish an entire harness through there. It’s not easy nor for the faint of heart. I cussed a little but got it done. If you ever do this run a multi pair wire harness through. This way you will have spares for future use.
I used a strap to pull down on it on the inside to cut the hole. Very important- out under the hood put a piece of wood or something under the nipple as your cutting so you don’t slip with your knife and cut some OEM wires by accident.
