I'm getting ready to change out my OEM tires (General Grabber) and curious to hear of positive/negative tire experiences on your Tremor. What have you put on that you like/don't like? My truck doesn't go off road too much (maybe 15-20 days per year for hunting season), but when I do go off the beaten path I like to have a good tire that will do the job, but honestly more concerned at the end of the day with the 90% of time i spend on pavement/highway. Are you using E load rated tires?

Lots of posts on the forum. Some folks worry about weight and mpg, others want off road capabilities. It’s a personal choice, there are a lot of good ones that offer great characteristics. You live in Nashville, I live in PA, so snow traction matters to me, probably not so much to you. I am leaning towards the Falken Wildpeak AT4, bigger than stock. A solid all around tire for what I need, might not be best for you. Do a search on here, you will get a ton of opinions. See what Tire Rack has for ratings. It truly is a personal choice. For me, it’s all about capability in bad weather…snow, slush, with some off road capabilities. Don’t want a dog driving on pavement either. I didn’t buy a Tremor for gas mileage, I bought it for capabilities and I match my tires in that manner.

Thanks for the response. I did try a search but apparently I did a poor job of that, so I'll try again and see if I can find more on the topic. I realize it's a personal choice and it's like everything else, everybody has an opinion. I do love your last sentence- bought it for capabilities and match the tires accordingly. Thanks again!

Found one of the posts you mentioned after diving a little deeper- thank you again- very helpful.

For what it's worth, I have been a fairly vocal fan of the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T ~35" tires. They're only load range D, but they're excellent tires in my (actually fairly limited) experience with them (installed them and ran them for a while, but didn't have time to get them re-aligned, so they wore unevenly. I put the old General Grabbers on for a while, then was rear-ended, lost my truck for quite a few months, then got it back and finally I just got some new ones to put on once I reinstall the new suspension, so I'm looking forward to running them again. I talk more about the details on my build page, but there are lots of good tires out there for the Tremor. I'm also in PA, so like JKinPA said, snow is more of an issue here, but these tires are decent in most conditions, and aren't too loud but are definitely hefty.
