Have you noticed any substantial mpg hit?Took the plunge on my tremor this week! Leveled with ReadyLift 2” kit, 35” Toyo Open Country R/T tires, and 17” Method MR305 NV wheels. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!View attachment 29473
I lose 2 full mpg with 34.8s and 2” levelHow much of a performance hit are you guys getting with 35's? My tremor has the 5.0 so won't have that extra torque.
I don't care about mileage I mean performance-get up and go, torque, acceleration etc.I lose 2 full mpg with 34.8s and 2” level
Ah.I don't care about mileage I mean performance-get up and go, torque, acceleration etc.
I've always run 33s so it think I'll just stick with that since that's what it comes with anyway. Go wider though probably.Ah.
Only way I can describe it is this:
With 35s and level, my 3.5 isn’t going to cut em loose on dry pavement anymore. I have to use sport mode to recreate that stock jump.
I don’t find it sluggish. But it’s not the same launch from a flat start.
Would still level and go bigger on tires. Maybe do the 3.5 performance tune later this year.
Happy to help. 33s look good on these trucksI've always run 33s so it think I'll just stick with that since that's what it comes with anyway. Go wider though probably.
Thanks for the info.
My issue is if i start putting huge rubber on im gonna have to do fender flares too. I drive on gravel so much it'll destroy the paint.Mine’s a 3.5 Eco and I really can’t tell an appreciable difference. Maybe a slight drop in fuel economy, but other than that, nothing noticeable. I’m running Raptor Wheels and 315/70R 17 KO2’s (34.4 diameter or about 1 inch taller than stock)
I understand the gravel issues! That’s why I went with the Raptor Wheels. Little to no “Poke” and not much gravel thrown outside the wheel wells. My issue is if i start putting huge rubber on im gonna have to do fender flares too. I drive on gravel so much it'll destroy the paint.
This is my lariat with 33s and +20 offset rebels. (picking up my 24 402A in a couple weeks and cant decide what to do with it)
Honestly I like the look of a little tire poke but it creates other problems and doesn't really achieve anything aside from an aggressive look.I understand the gravel issues! That’s why I went with the Raptor Wheels. Little to no “Poke” and not much gravel thrown outside the wheel wells.
