Torsen front diff

Hey Guys,
I have been wondering and have not been able to find any info specifically on it, but the Torsen from Ford comes 4.10 ratio while the locking rear comes 3.73.
Do any of you know if Ford is changing the rears to match the 4.1 or are they changing the Torsen to the 3.73?
I'm just assuming they are supposed to match.. but I'm no mechanic.

This post seems like the most plausible to me.

It has come up several times. Its a misprint on fords site. The torsen itself does not change you gear ratio. On the Raptor the torsen option from the factory bumps you to a 4.10 front and rear. The Tremor stays at 3.73. It was a poor cut and paste job by Ford on the build site that got everyone excited.

Both front and rear gear ratios need to match or death and destruction will result (outside of some special exceptions).

When you install the torsen after the fact your existing front gear is reused.

Booo the Ford accessories site says the torsen is sold out
I know! I even called my local dealer and they couldn’t get me one either.
I am really starting to feel lucky then. It was on my doorstep in 3-4 days from order. I was half expecting to get a backorder email at the time, but was pleasantly surprised.

I think the intern is charge of the F150 ford's website these days. I like that its Jan and build and price still shows 2021 F150s. I guess the intern quit over there :ROFLMAO:

Great info. I'm not mad at both being 4.10. That way Ill get that quick.

Man, I searched the site using "Torsen" and "4.10" and "Torsen 4.10" and couldn't find a thing! How did you find this?
Regardless, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. This definitely answered my question.
