Transfer case/torsen question

I was faced with the same problem. When I found mine it had the Torsen 402a, the Azure Gray color I wanted, but it also had a sunroof that I didn't want. I keep the shade closed on the sunroof. I'm going to retire in a few years and live in Florida. Sunroof's in Florida are not a good option in the summer. Without the Torsen I would have just bought another FX4 and put different tires on.

Question for you guys. If you had the choice would you want the raptor transfer case that comes with the 402a package or the front axle with torsen diff on a 401a

In a perfect world you’d get a 402a with the torsen but between the two I’m looking at it’s not an option.

I’m leaning toward getting the 402a and adding the torsen diff at a later date if needed

I ordered my 2022 tremor 402A with torsen diff, I guess they changed that option
