Transmission Skid Plate

It’s just a metric flanged bolt. Take the nut clip with you to the store. It’s likely a 5 or 6 mm.

A bolt is a bolt. Just go to the hardware store my guy.
More an fyi to the group. I’m more likely to just zip tie that little panel on if I even use it

I can't help but picture my truck gearing up with that skid plate, ready to take on whatever the road throws its way.

This is -F and is the smaller cover that is removable for doing oil changes. The pieces also go to an Expedition but they work regardless. I have spent hundreds of dollars (bought multiple wrong skid plates) just to get to this point and for multiple techs to confirm with a 2023 Raptor VIN that the part numbers above are accurate. Those are what I purchased and have installed with no headache on my own truck

I just did the install on my 2023 (November 2024). I'm here to say thank you for this parts list. Very helpful.
Part numbers were current and tho some sites claimed the "oil cover" speed nut is discontinued it's in the system used by dealers.

One note, I put fasteners on the plate (4 larger 2 small) and oil cover (3 small) wherever Ford left cutouts. On my truck that's 4 large fasteners (W716831-S439 & W719490-S439) and 5 small (W500623-S439 & W520813-S439). I painted the oil cover red because, unfortunately, the day will come that I'm at a Jiffy Lube and I want to help the tech. (The cover is stamped "oil filler" or similar but no one will ever see that once the thing is dirty.)

Thanks again.

awesome - what did you spend to do it all?

About $300 from a wholesaler connected to a large east coast dealer; I picked up. The skid plate was $154, the oil cover was $67 and various way overpriced but super handy speed nuts and bolts made up the rest. Nuts and bolts are shipped in packages of 3 or 4 but can be bought individually.
