Tremor's Limits and Capabilities

I've been tooling around my back yard.

It needs a little more clearance, up front. The Torsen is fantastic! used it to run some of my smaller rock climbs and hills with the only noticeable slippage being when I actually stopped on one hill, ebrake on=slid backwards.

I high centered it twice, used the chin guard once and repainted my frame, once... I think 1.5-2 inches lift up front with maybe an inch more droop and ~ 2" larger tires and I'll be ready for the tougher trails. Approach angle isn't terrible, breakover is bad but will be much better with some lift/tire love

The stock Grabbers are impressive for traction and on road manners but they aren't going off road anywhere I can't walk to from my garage and other tires..
Do you need to be in a certain mode for the torsen to work, or will it activate anytime there is slippage in 4x4?

anytime there is slippage in 4WD. There are additional tech tricks that happen in some of the modes which is a whole different level of cool. 1 pedal drive in 4L rock crawl mode and I would let my wife drive up that slick hill

Would anyone do Imogine Pass in a Tremor? I rented Jeep last year and did not think it was that bad.. but there are some really narrow spots.

Yeah, I think someone did it in a sorento. It's not bad at all but it can get skinny depending on what washed out and when

I did it in my PW but honestly, the Tremor seems bigger

I’m just learning about 4wd world-
I have the Front Torsen and the gigantic rutted mud track I went through it felt like it floated right through it. traction on this truck is amazing!

That's a good summary, I do like the tires but definitely need to be E rated at the very minimum, here we have a lot of steep clay and rock mtns, if you really wanna find out how good the torsen front end works hit a wet incline with clay, wet clay is the only thing I hate worse than ice.
My nemesis... Georgia red clay when the snow is melting. That stuff is slicker than owl crap.

Yes. Many do imogene in less. Probably more about what potential rash you can stand inflicting on the truck. You cool with some scratches on the front bash plate? Dragging the paint off the bumper or exhaust outlets? Maybe a little backwoods pinstriping? It’ll make it fine.
(Been over it on a dirtbike a few times - man what an awesome area)
