What's on your AUX switches?

You could always add a relay if you need higher current capacity. A 10 amp switch is probably enough for a 100W siren (8A) but not both siren and radio.

Had my truck a year. And nothing on it. I'm serious. Even bought that bad ads harness sold on these forums.

I may have to rearrange the switches but I’m looking at a similar setup:

Aux 1: white off-road lights
Aux 2: white scene lights (pod-lights)
Aux 3: all emergency lights
Aux 4: siren/radio
Aux 5: winch
Aux 6: onboard air compressor

Not sure if the planned switch configuration will work with the needed amps/wattage for each item but so far I’ve only wired in the emergency lights.

Just saw this post again and wanted to update it a bit to reflect what I currently have:

Aux 1: white scene (side) lights (pod-lights)
Aux 2: white off-road lights
Aux 3: all emergency lights
Aux 4: Open
Aux 5: amber lights (for non-medical stuff)
Aux 6: Open

Winch, radio and siren are wired directly to the battery, though this does bring up an interesting electrical conundrum...

The siren, when wired with the standard red and black wires from the positive terminal and body ground, respectively, would flicker on and off. Once I unplugged the black wire, it actually works, and does so more consistently, which suggests that the siren is grounded through its mount to the vehicle. I would think that the body of the siren unit would be electrically isolated from the internal electricals, but I guess not. I don't know if I like this, but it does seem to work just fine. This doesn't happen with the radio, though...
