Has anyone run or seen 285/75/18 on stock wheels?

So with the 35x12.50 on factory rims and no wheel spacers there’s absolutely zero rubbing no matter what you do, correct??? Looks really good by the way. Have you drove enough to see how bad your mileage took a hit?
Just got them yesterday so no time for mileage but I was getting 16-19 mix. We will see. And no rubbing at all so far. Haven’t taken it off road yet so who knows, but doesn’t look like there would be any.

Sweet set up. Yep, I can see you did your fair share of trimming for that look. If you like a 6 inch kit and are ok spending the $ now you won’t have any rubbing issues ( see link below for options made for regular F-150 but 💯 work on the Tremor) . At the time I installed , early March of this year Auto spring 2.5 was a new option and there wasn’t as many lifts done so I didn’t know the difference a 1.5 spacer makes to the turning radius with a 35/12.50/18 on stock wheels. At the times when I do rub it’s like hearing nails on a chalk board for a millisecond or two. Overall I’m 💯 happy with the look, ride and handling.

I’m in sales so I really don’t want a 6 inch lift if I have to put customers in my truck. On my old truck at full right turn I still rubbed and that was after crash bars and trim cutting. Thanks for your input cause I might have gone for it already and realized how much I’d have to cut, now I know ahead and if I do go for it I can plan better. Here is a strait view for everyone to see. It’s pretty flush and I love the look! I just really really love the poke out look most.

I drove for about a week on my 35/12.50/18 on factory wheels and didn’t experience any rubbing at all, until I installed my 1.5 wheel spacers for the poke look. From my research a 12.50 is equivalent to a 315 wide tire ( I believe it’s actually 317 equivalent) . Those that these post title mention 285/ 75/18 might not experience the rubbing since it’s a narrower tire.
My mileage is lousy. I was getting a steady 15mpg on stock wheels n tires and after going to 35’s I don’t get better than mid 12’smpg at best mix of city, highway. I have a pedal commander hooked up so that could be the difference. I’ve never done a straight highway trip to see what kind of mpg I could get. I also often swap to sport mode and am not concerned about mpg’s to much.
This is all helpful information I needed. Currently I have the Eibach lift springs and it more or less dropped me from 18 to 16. I have a set of 285/75 ordered that I was going to put on if there was absolutely zero issues with clearance but now I’m just indecisive. Those 10 ply 285s are going to drop me to 15 I’m sure and when you drive 30k a year that’s significant difference. I can’t decide if I should get the 285s put on or just take the Eibach back off and get 10 ply 275s. It’s hard to put a price on “bad ass” haha.

YOLO bro! I’d put on the 285s. Gas mileage is what it is! Cut back on Starbucks or something to counter the drop in mileage. Lol! I just spent two hours this morning detailing the piss out of her. Haven’t done that in a long time.

lol there isn’t a Starbucks within 30 miles of my middle of nowhere establishment but it probably wouldn’t hurt to cut back on some Copenhagen. I do like how your truck looks that’s for sure.

Got some 285/75/18 Toyo A/T III thrown on today! Ride great, minimal increase in sound on the highway.
Only thing wrong with this post is the fact that you didn’t post more pictures! I’ve got the same thing that just came in yesterday and I’m hoping to get them on this week.

Anyone using the 295/70/18's? Thinking about the Nitto Recons

Right on man you won’t be disappointed. Haha didn’t have much chance for photos but here’s a side shot when I picked it up

Perfect. (y) Have asked several offload shops and they all concur on that size of tire for no rubbing or trimming. Got a 2" level on it already. Definitely will stay with this size. Now just contemplating if I should get wheels too or stick to the OEM's which I do like.
Thanks

They look great! I’ve had couple sets of the AT3 and really like them. I’m glad I went with the 285s after seeing yours.

Hey has anyone put the 285/75 on the spare? I was wondering if there was any trouble with it fitting back where it goes?

Damn that looks really good! Thanks for the pics I was wondering how 35x12.5 would work on the stock wheels.
