285/75/18 is what I am throwing on in the next few weeks along with a 2.5” level!
Happy to hear there is no issues with rubbing on stock wheels

Here’s the truck from a few angles for people wanting to see this size tire on stock wheels n level. For the time being I will be putting on 1.5” wheel spacers. The flush wheel stance is killing me. But it clears the upper control arms with much ease.
So you’re the reason I’ve only been able to get two of those so far! lol285/75/18 is what I am throwing on in the next few weeks along with a 2.5” level!

Haha fortunately I got lucky and a customer had them on hold for a while and never picked them up from the tire shop so I threw a deposit on them to hold them.So you’re the reason I’ve only been able to get two of those so far! lol
Must be the two I was able to get lol. I swear everything is hard to come by anymore.Haha fortunately I got lucky and a customer had them on hold for a while and never picked them up from the tire shop so I threw a deposit on them to hold them.
Other than that, tire guy said could only find 2 that were available.
BFGs are 90$ cheaper in 305s bs Generals in 35x12.50. I’ve never owned Generals before so I’m leaning towards what I know and I could use the 90$ for about half a tank of gas! Lol (just filled up for 4.04)I’m torn between BFGs (I had them on my old truck and they were great) and the stock tires but in 35/12.50/18. Discount has a sale on the 305/70/r18 BFGs and I may go that way. But I really enjoy the ride on the Generals
Took the plunge with 35/12.50/r18. Discount gave me 345 per tire. She’s dirty so I’ll get better pics tomorrow!View attachment 4615
Looking good, just be aware if you add a 1.5 wheel spacer you’re going to have to trim considerably, crash bars both front n back several inches, wheel wheel liner, inner wheel well plastic as well. I’m speaking from my experience I’ve had 2.5 AS on my 35/12.50/18 Yoko Geo’s on stock wheels and all was fine till I wanted a lil poke and added the 1.5 wheel spacers. I only rub if I brake while turning or climb up a bump while turning, or any type of rough terrain while turning/ braking , quick uturns will also rub. Thanks! Yes I had the 2.5 AS kit installed this morning then went to discount and swapped out to the 35s, it still has a slight rake but looks like what it should have come from the factory.View attachment 4627
No rubbing, no trimmingI'm supposed to get the 2.0" Readylift on Monday. But, getting the 295/70/18 Nitto Recons. Haven't decided on what offset to use with the bronze Fuel Rebels.
Did you get any rubbing or trimming done?
Yep, love the look with the 1.5 spacer. I already have them but haven’t put them on cause i figured everything your telling me, I’d have to do. Not sure yet if I’m ready for that again. Did a good amount of trimming on my 19 FX4Looking good, just be aware if you add a 1.5 wheel spacer you’re going to have to trim considerably, crash bars both front n back several inches, wheel wheel liner, inner wheel well plastic as well. Nice n slow I’m good, and majority of everyday driving I won’t rub unless I’m driving a little too spirited.
I definitely plan on adding another 1.5-2.5 inch full lift kit down the line to eliminate rubbing all together and improve off road capabilities.
Here’s before 1.5 wheel spacer and after so you can see the difference.
So with the 35x12.50 on factory rims and no wheel spacers there’s absolutely zero rubbing no matter what you do, correct??? Looks really good by the way. Have you drove enough to see how bad your mileage took a hit? Thanks! Sweet set up. Yep, I can see you did your fair share of trimming for that look. If you like a 6 inch kit and are ok spending the $ now you won’t have any rubbing issues ( see link below for options made for regular F-150 but work on the Tremor) . At the time I installed , early March of this year Auto spring 2.5 was a new option and there wasn’t as many lifts done so I didn’t know the difference a 1.5 spacer makes to the turning radius with a 35/12.50/18 on stock wheels. At the times when I do rub it’s like hearing nails on a chalk board for a millisecond or two. Overall I’m happy with the look, ride and handling.Yep, love the look with the 1.5 spacer. I drove for about a week on my 35/12.50/18 on factory wheels and didn’t experience any rubbing at all, until I installed my 1.5 wheel spacers for the poke look. From my research a 12.50 is equivalent to a 315 wide tire ( I believe it’s actually 317 equivalent) . Those that these post title mention 285/ 75/18 might not experience the rubbing since it’s a narrower tire.So with the 35x12.50 on factory rims and no wheel spacers there’s absolutely zero rubbing no matter what you do, correct???
