2023 now or wait for 2024?

I have a 23 and plan to upgrade once the new body style '26s come out. Soon as you get that '24 they'll be a new style out in less than 2 years... hopefully.

That's what I like to do, skip the refresh. But have been tempted to pick up a Final Edition TRX just to have one.

Every model year of Tremor has been a downgrade of the model year prior, I have a 23 and am waiting till 25 to upgrade to a 21. lol

Are you talking about more than the windshield and the splash screen on the center dash display when the vehicle wakes up?

I was in the same situation. But ultimately decided to go for a 2023 and happy I did. Bumpers can be swapped and let’s be honest most of us change a few things anyways. If your worried about resale your already thinking about selling something you haven’t even bought! It’s like being on a hamster wheel because the 25 will have better resale than a 24 and you’ll get the 24 at the end of the year so why not wait 3 more months for a 25? So I would say go with what you like more and don’t worry about the rest. The money you’re saving on a 23 you can buy a bumper and still have money left. Plus you’ll already be out there enjoying the truck, instead of waiting. Grill, headlights, front bumper and HUD are the only noted changes. I’m very happy with my 23 and plan on getting a factory 24 bumper for it but painting it to match. Best of all worlds for me. I’m out here enjoying life and the truck. Only regret is not getting one sooner.

There’s no guarantee that said 24 modular will bolt up to the 23.

It's just the windshield and the splash screen on start-up- which anyone can add via Forscan, not sure why anyone would want to if they didn't have a 75th, but they can.

To say that you’re screwed is a bit extreme.

At least you still have LED headlights not to mention that the 2024 TREMOR will have more standard features than the 2023 402A equipped TREMORS plus more available options so that’s what you’re really paying extra for.

Same dilemma as everyone is mentioning. I ended up making a decent deal on my 402a '23 a couple of weeks ago and part of that decision was that I had purchased a suspension, wheel/tire package for my '20 FX4 that would be sitting around coupled with not having enough patience to wait until late '24 for a new build......was also concerned if we'd end up hearing about even more delays if ordering with specific package combinations as has occurred with various Ford models from '21-'23.

I really am not looking to sell of the tremor anytime soon (famous last words!!) so was about function.... the biggest thing for me was front redesign for ability to order or after-market upgrade bumper, add winch and avoid the 3.5EB intercooler relocation; would have been nice for less complicated setup with newer '24 model. .... and TBH when I do go for a new bumper arrangement this will be expensive, require a good deal of mods if I want/need that winch setup. I really would have liked to keep things "OEM Ford" with that functionality.

....but ... no regrets on the '23 and will enjoy it this year and eventually put in the additional $$$ for the modifications.

You can probably get more $ off a 2023 if you push or shop around. My 2023 tremor 402a MSRP was $72k and I got it for $64k ($8k under MSRP.) This was back in October.

They definitely offered me more savings/incentives into December 2023 that were lost after the first week or so of January. Dealerships around me did become very proud of the '23s they had on the lot....but I did find a few were willing to negotiate as of February. I probably lost around $2000 not taking advantage of Ford customer cash by Jan '24 however am happy with the decision versus waiting.

And those that wait for the 24s - cannot wait to hear feedback and see their builds!

My bet is that if the upgraded headlights hit the Tremor, it will be the 25 model, and probably only on the 402a pkg. Ford is having enough problems with the 24s as is (none have actually been delivered as they are all on "quality assurance hold" at the moment) that I cant see them making a change mid year, especially since we will be half way through the model year before one actually gets delivered.

I pulled the trigger on a 23 Tremor 402A on Friday- Couldn't turn down my trade-in value on my 21 PowerBoost as well as, dealer providing $12,500 off MRSP vs ordering a 2024.

The Job 2 Order Guide for MY24 is out. It shows the Lariat as XLT plus the following, and in that following it mentions LED Projector with Dynamic Bending Headlamps. Tremor is listed as XLT plus the following, and in that following it does NOT mention LED Projector with Dynamic Bending Headlamps.

I can get a brand new one on the lot now for $7000 below MSRP, 67K instead of 74K and has what I want (high package, Torsen..,).
Or I can order with my dealer at Invoice or Granger at 4% below invoice a 2024. But because of price increase and high package includes more stuff, that’s 77K MSRP. 71-72 at invoice, and probably about 69 with Granger.

What would you guys do?
Pros of 23: I drive a Tremor tomorrow, I can sell my current vehicle maybe a little more now than in 8 months, it has better led front lights
Pros of 24: I get the new bumper that I really like and a few things I don’t care (HUD) and for only $2K more with Granger it’s going to have better resale value ( because 1 year newer and higher MSRP value due more equipment included in the high package).

It just bothers me that I am getting about 2% under invoice for a 23 when you can order a 24 custom for 4% under invoice.

If you’re in a rush, get the 23. I ordered my 24 F150 tremor February 29 with the Progate and still have not heard anything from Ford with a build date

I went with a 23 because there is no Azure Gray in 2024.

For me personally the 2024 is a downgrade. The headlights are trash, the front is weird, and the tail lights are overly complicated and ugly. The new tailgate is also seemingly useless. I just don't see the point.
