2023 Tremor 402a under MSRP normal?

Tremors are beginning to pile up, at least in the Houston market. Several are listed 3500-4500 off, with minimal or no dealer add-ons.
Pile up? I'm here in the Boston area for a few months (thanks to Uncle Sam) and there are none on any dealer lot within 200 miles of me.

I found one advertised for $5,000 under MSRP at a dealer near Salt Lake back in January. I think it was a mistake because they pulled the ads for the two other Tremors they were advertising after I called and put a deposit down. It was one they ordered in November and hadn’t been built yet when I saw it. It had every option I wanted 402a, torsion front axle, B&O unleashed, pro power. Flew down and took delivery a little over 2 weeks ago. Contacted several dealerships while shopping in Montana and Idaho and none would budge on price. I think you can find deals but you have to be willing to travel a little depending on where you live.

Picked up a loaded Avalanche 402a today for 4930 off MSRP. Gone are the days of $5-10k Market adjustments above MSRP. Dealer I went to had 3 on the lot. There are bunches sitting on lots all over middle Tennessee. Timing is everything.

Can you tell me what dealers (or where) in tennesee? I’m in upstate SC and actively looking but can’t find 5k under msrp or anywhere close. Thanks in advance.

So I did get my tremor for $4380 off MSRP plus another $500 for being military. I didn't even haggle with them on it. $67k price on a $72+ MSRP. They also had 2 Raptors (I was eyeing those too) but for $8k OVER MSRP, so the mark ups haven't gone away yet. My build date was 10/22, so maybe it's been sitting on the lot, or it took forever to get delivered.

I’m new to this process and appreciate any and all info y’all got. Thanks!
Well there's no torsen front diff if you off-road. Also has the sun roof and power tail gate if you like that. I saved $2500 by omitting those and the potential headaches down the road from them.

As for the price- it depends what the final numbers will be. But right off the bat they took off $1059. Nice. They include destination, nice. But see the note: "*Disclaimer: Price includes $1,000 Trade Assistance" So sounds like if you don't have a trade in, they're might jack up the price $1000. Then there's dealer processing fees, they all charge that, tax, and title. Then you may have to navigate the gauntlet of add-ons like service packages, warranties, VIN etching, undercoating, scotch guard for the interior, they're all overpriced profit padding things you don't need from them. You can buy a gold extended warranty from a ford dealer later at a big discount. I bought my Tremor from Battlefield Ford Culpeper and because it was an internet deal, they didn't try to add anything to the price.

I still see $2-3k you can try to negotiate off that price, or keep shopping.

That's because there aren't that many of them, Ford will keep that price high by limiting production.

In 3 years when they go to sell it with a $150k note and a trade in of $50k someone is going to get burned. No thanks. I could buy a boat or RV to go with my F150 for that kind of money.

Smaller dealer near me has a couple 401as for what looks like pretty good discount off MSRP ($4400) assuming they dont bone you with dealer BS. Never bought from them however the guy I did buy my Tremor from works there now.

Ask for Jeff if you do end up checking them out.

Good lookout! I actually spotted these guys a few weeks ago. My lovely wife talked me into the 402as though. Still, these are a great deal!

"My wife talked me into the 402a though" — don't you ever let that woman go you hear me?
I agree, I wasn't planning on getting a new truck either, I had just replaced the brakes all the way on my 2017 and one morning my wife starts texting me different trucks and I kept saying no there wasn't any need that is until she texted me that our local dealer was getting in a Tremor, so I called my buddy who works there and told him I wanted 1st dibs on it, when it arrived he called. I went to look at it, called my wife and she asked if I could bring it by for her to look at, once she saw it, it was a done deal. Had they not given me a good trade in on my other truck I wouldn't have done it but she was going to either way. Women like that are hard to find, but then the mod bug hit and she probably has an assassin looking for two people on here, mainly because I blame them for it. 😁

I was in the same boat. I had an '18 Lariat and hadn't had any significant problems or anything. Really liked my truck. Everyone else always commented on how nice it was. I'm always looking at trucks haha, but I wasn't looking to buy. I was going to wait another year, maybe even two. But I saw an avalanche grey Tremor at my local dealer and it's the first truck since I started to get the itch that made me stop and ask about it. It ended up selling the next day but I found another one at another dealer shortly after. I'm probably going to end up being mad that I didn't wait because I just know the MY24's are going to have all the deleted options back and some extra features/changes, that's just how these things end up working out for me haha, but I was over 99K miles, and like you, felt I got good value for my trade-in so I had to make the move. My fiancé was just like 'if you like the truck then you should get it' so here we are.

I bought a 2022 in November 402a. Window sticker $71,800 and got it for $7,700 off window.

Dang every single new 22 I'm seeing even right now is still MSRP
Yeah I shopped really hard. Found a dealer in BFE TX that had one. They had it for months had it listed for $8k over MSRP and had been slowly dropping the price. That paired with being right before thanksgiving and the market had started to shift they decided to take a serious buyer and sell it. I jumped on a one way flight the next day and drove it home.

I used this website to search the country. It will show you days for sale, all the prices it’s been listed at and how negotiable they think it will be. I searched for 4 months to find the right deal but also had some very specific options I wanted such as the torsion front axle and no sunroof. It had everything but the bedstep but for the deal it was worth it.
