2024 F-150 Tremor 5.0 – Oil Leak at ~10k Miles (Pics Attached)

How the hell would they try to give you back your truck damaged? The incompetence is real.
Lol, I moved everything from the loaner to my truck. Decided to walk around to do a visual check. You know what, it saved me. Walked inside and told the service advisor for a word. His face was like “oh uh”
Since I was checked out, I had to wait for the loaner to come back, move baby seat and stuff back to the loaner, hoped on.

Throughout the repair, I monitored the location of the truck from the FordPass security and location feature. The service advisor said they put some miles on it to make sure the leak stopped. But what I saw was it idled for a long time.

I guess we will find out once the door panel is repainted.

I'm sorry to hear man, that is totally unacceptable. Hopefully they are trying to make it right outside of fixing the truck but then again customer service no longer exists.

Can't say enough good things about how supportive y'all have been!
I got my truck back, and I'll be closely monitoring the leak.

Here is the service record from the dealer.

Thank you both!

Since I bought the Tremor, I have learnt a great deal about truck maintenance through forums and the prestigious YTU. The newer V6 twin-turbo Tundra, with its issues, scared me away.

Will update y'all with progress.
same. i saw that tundra got rid of the awesome v8 and put in the twin T v6. read lots of horror stories. about that one. same iwth dodge.

I hadn't heard anything bad about the Hurricane in the RAM trucks. However, I've heard lots of horror stories about the Tundra's V6 grenading. It's also been a crap show with the 5.3L, 6.2L and 3.0 Duramax engines in the GM trucks. Right now I'd say Ford has the best engines in the half ton segment bar none. Not that they are perfect mind you.

As for them scratching the OP's truck, I'm not surprised. I've had nothing but horror stories out of the dealerships in the Dallas area. Town East Ford in Mesquite being the worst of them. I took my 2015 Lariat to them back in the day to replace a leaking front shock under warranty, install a leveling kit and of course, align the truck afterwards. When I got the truck back it wasn't aligned, there were greasy tools in my back seat, and my bumper was scratched to hell where they clipped another vehicle in the parking lot with it.

They told me they didn't know how to align it because it was too new at the time (this was in 2015, when that body style was brand new) and that I'd have to try again later or go to another dealership. While it was in with the body shop for the bumper the manager called me from the body shop and his guys did the alignment.

Rockwall Ford scratched a deep gouge into the leather of my steering wheel on my 2020 Mustang GT while it was in for an oil change. They took care of it and made it right but that never should have happened.

Despite all that idiocy and more, my service history with GM dealerships is far worse.

Back on topic, my 2024 F-150 with the 5.0L never had any issues of any kind. It certainly didn't leak. I haven't had any issues with my 2025 TREMOR but I've only had it a month. I'm up to 3,000 miles though without any issues.
