2024 Iconic Silver Tremor Build

The Full Icon Tremor Stage-5 Suspension has been installed. Everything was installed with No issues.

Front height is set a little high with anticipation of the Front Winch and Mount to be installed. Height may need to be adjusted once everything is installed up front.

The Rear Icon Springs do not have the extra Leaf Spring installed that Icon provides, however to better match the current front lift height, a Factory Standard F150 1" Block is currently installed. The Icon Rear U-Bolts provided with the kit did accommodate the Factory Block as well.

If the Winch and Heavy Winch Mount do lower the front an inch or so, then the Rear Block will be removed. We'll see? Currently there is about a 2" rake.

The 35x11.50 Spare also fit in the stock location (just barely) as seen in last couple pictures.

The +25 Offset Wheels keep the tires tucked in.

Great clearance up front with No rubbing.
F150 - Front Suspension.webp

Plenty of clearance on the rear. I may remove 1" F150 Factory Block?

The 35x11.50 Spare Tire just fits in stock location and does not hit the exhaust.
F150 - Suspension Rear Shackle.webp

The Longer Rear Shackle lifts the rear of the Springs away from the exhaust.

Factory Standard F150 1" Rear Block is also installed.

I programmed the Icon CDEV shock settings on the Tremor. This is where the Stage-5 Suspension with the Programmable Shocks and Computer really shines. Using the Icon App you connect the App via Blue Tooth, input the vehicle information and connect to the Icon Computer installed on the truck.

I have this same Icon system on 2 of my Broncos and my F350 Tremor and it is Phenomenal. I will Program the settings the same on the F150 Tremor as I do on my Broncos and then adjust as needed.

These adjustments are done on the fly as you are driving by using the Icon App on your iPhone.
For example: While driving my F350 with 35 bags of feed in the back and towing a trailer with 40 hay bales I noticed just a little bounce from the extra weight as I drove. (Stock rear springs) I adjusted the damping of rear shocks on my IPhone while driving from 2 to 6. All of the bounce disappeared immediately and the ride was smooth as could be.

F150 - Icon Program.webp

Normal Driving Mode settings. In this Mode, I set the Shock Damping to 2 out of 10. This will provide nice and soft road manners.

On the next page of the App you can now program G-force, which is for pitch forward and back. (How much nose dive while braking and how much squat when accelerating) Then program Corner Boost which adjusts side to side while going around corners. I max out both of these settings to 10 out of 10.

There are 2 other settings for Tow / Haul and Off Road Modes. I will adjust these too.

I have No connection with the company Icon whatsoever and Do Not sell anything for them. However, this is unlike most other Suspension systems available and I highly recommend it!

Carli has a similar setup for Superduty Trucks with an Electronic Shock option. I have no experience with this system but Carli has a Great reputation in the Superduty world. Carli has No F150 items that I know of???

The Ford Raptor Lineup has the Fox Shocks which are also programmable by using buttons on the Steering Wheel for the Damping of the Shocks. (Normal, Sport, and Baja)

If you want a F150 Tremor that will out handle the F150 Raptor, this is the suspension system for you. The adjustability of the Icon Stage-5 Suspension System with the computer controlled CDEV shocks is almost endless.

My recommendation is to find someone in your area, or a shop, that has this suspension system installed on one of their vehicles and drive it.

I installed the Ford OEM Tow Mirrors this morning. (All Power, Chrome Caps) These were pretty easy to install. 4 Bolts on each mirror, unplug wire harness and camera, then install new and reassemble. Everything fit as it should with no issues.

I took my time and it was about 20 minutes per side. The hardest part was carefully swapping out the Chrome Caps for the Black ones I purchased separately.

Everything works except the Wide / Narrow Button (included with mirror purchase) which needs to be programmed.

Update: On my 2024 there is No Wiring present for this extra switch. Once programmed everything else will work except the Wide / Narrow option. Kind of a bummer, but at least I can see behind me a hell of a lot better with these mirrors installed.

I've been doing the same research to figure out if the extension functionality can be retrofit. Definitely love the look of the SuperDuty style Tow Mirrors, especially on a lifted F150. I didn't see mention as to whether or not you were able to implement the 360 Camera View or the Side Lights from the upgrade. Did you truck have the 402(a) trim with these options to start? I'd hate to lose the side lights and 360 with the Tow Mirrors even though they look sexy AF on the rigs!

Nice build! The 35x11.5 combo really seems to be the perfect combination of size and function for these trucks. Time to get out on the trails and flex that thing out.

I have the 402A on my truck.

With the 2024 you have to swap out the Cameras and use the original cameras in the new mirrors.

My 2024 truck also did not come with the wiring in the door panel for the wide / narrow extension option. It's not so modular as before, I guess?

With that said, I am so used to these mirrors from my F350 Tremor and F450 that I don't like the "Car Like" mirrors from the F150. The swap is well worth it to me.

Correct. I don't need such a wide tire and the 11.50 with the +25 offset wheel tucks inside the fender nicely. I like my Iconic Silver Paint.

It will get dirty when I take it up to Va next week.

She's back home!

The Icon Stage 5 Tremor Suspension System (K93165L) has been installed with no issues. This thing really rides great! Love the stance too. Just over a 2" rake now. Underside Rear fender is 43.25" from the ground, front is 41".

The RetraxPro XR Manual Tonneau Cover (T-80378) install is complete too. I was not sure about having a Tonneau Cover on a truck? This is my first one and I Love it! I initially was thinking about a Power Tonneau but after looking into it, most are having issues and this one is much more simplistic (No Motor) but still has all the security and strength. Plus its about $1000 less including install. With the T-Slots included with the XR I can add all kinds of racks too.

Time for a Winch Install.

This is one of my last items on my list. Almost done.

I got the Swarfworks Mount in this week and was eager to get it installed.

Since I have a V8 in my Tremor, the install includes removing just the front bumper and not the whole grill assembly. (As If I had the V6 Turbo)

Process of Bumper Removal:

Remove Front Skid Plate
Un-plug One Electric Plug mounted on the Passenger Side Front Frame Rail
Remove 3 Nuts on each side. These go to Main Bolts on Bumper
Remove One Bolt each side. These hold in place the outer supports for the bumper.
Remove Tow Hooks (2 bolts Each)

Install Mount and Winch:

Assemble Mount with Fairlead Box as shown in picture.
Install Mount Assembly with Tow Hooks with Provided Frame Hardware

I got the Warn Winch and Front Bumper back on today. Pretty straight forward. Obviously the Winch is Heavy and Awkward to get into place but not too bad.

There is a Metal Tab on the Inside of the Driver's Side Front Frame Horn that needs to be bent out of the way. (Or Cut) Otherwise the winch will not seat correctly on the mount. Take care of this Tab FIRST before trying to mount and remount the winch a few times only to find it won't go in correctly.

I tested the remote for the winch and everything works as it should.

I will finalize install when the Yankum Winch line and Fairlead get in.

Since the bumper was off the front of the truck, I also installed the LP6s with the Modular Bumper light mounts. I'll adjust the lights tonight.

I installed the Banks Gauge Pod today. Very easy to install. Plug n Play. These things are great! There are Many Gauges to choose from and various layouts too.

Pictured is of Gauges as installed. I will change the color and gauges of my choice.

Damn you’ve got all the goodies already! How many miles are on this thing?

I'm going to drive this truck up to our place in Va in a couple weeks. It will remain up there. I need to get everything done on my list before I go. It has turned out Really nice!

I highly recommend the Icon Suspension with the Electronic Shocks. They are Live Active. The More you push it the better it is. You don't know how good it is until you drive it.

The Swarfworks Hidden Winch Mount is a very nice piece, especially for a V8 Truck. Takes time, but it's a pretty easy install.

The Truck has about 600 miles on it now.

I got the ARB Compressor and mount mounted today. I'll run the wiring as soon as I can.

I highly recommend the 4x4truckLED Compressor bed mount. Very easy to install, solid and good quality.

Dude you building my dream lol

I got the Swarfworks winch mount already, just haven’t got the winch yet, but once I do I appreciate your note on the install

Looks like we started with the same truck. After I finish the wiring for the compressor she is done.

The winch install will be A LOT easier with the 5.0 Motor instead of the V6 Turbo. Be thankful you have it. There is no intercooler to replace and move higher and you don't have to remove the grill at all.

So far I have not found anything that I do not like about the build or would do differently?!?! Other than the front Mud Guards being rubbed slightly by the larger tires, so I removed these.

I have the same Icon Suspension System with the Electronic Shocks on my Broncos and F350 Tremor. This was a No Brainer for me. It's absolutely fantastic!

Good luck with your build!

How much did the front drop with the winch and mount installed?

I was going to say. Dude’s spent my entire budget for my tremor on suspension alone and it’s only got 600 miles on it 😂

The front only dropped about a 1/4" of an inch.

I'm going to put some more miles on it and let everything settle. I'll maybe adjust height from there.
