I agree but, it’s definitely one of the most stolen vehicles including the Charger but only if either one is equipped with one of the Fiat V8’s.

Man I’m sorry this happened. When people steal your personal stuff it feels…well personal. It makes you feel violated and if the above is correct stalked and followed. If anything it makes you a more aware person now. Sometimes good things fall apart (like losing your bad a$$ truck) so better things can come together. I hope something better comes along for you soon. Thanks for sharing this story.

On a side note my buddy has a f-250 with a transmission lock. Meaning you have to type a code on a small keypad to put in drive. I’ve always wanted one but can’t find them.

That’s pretty much what happened to mine . Two guys approached my truck , one stayed back at the street and the other did something to open it . Then they left and walked down to a car that was parked a street away. Two guys came back , one had a bag this time . They opened the truck , got in this time and did something for 20mins and then tail lights down the road .
The car followed them after that and that’s the last video I saw .

Man that really sucks!!

Two updates for you -

1. The police have not located my stolen 2025 and it was deemed a total loss this week.

2.My new 2026 has been built and is on a train heading north from Dearborn.

Still sucks but at least I’m going to be back in a Tremor here soon !

Unfortunately I didn’t . I did try to activate it in the morning once I realized my truck was gone but they already unhooked to modem.

Are you planning to just use the Ford system for protection or are you going to look at something like IGLA.

I try to activate this feature on arriving home last time of day to provide protection overnight. But, you know, humans being fallible, it does not always get done. I am wondering how effective this Ford feature is?

FWIW, getting into a garage is scary easy. The only pro I can see here is that on the 5.0, it would be much louder when they started it in the garage vs outside, but at that point, they're still driving away with it. I have the 3.5, and I would have no idea that thing even started.

I like SLNT products, but any of the Faraday stuff should get the job done. You can make your own pretty cheap also if you wanted to.

same tools used for the trucks can be used for garage doors. nvm a coathanger through the top middle to pull the emergency latch (ziptie it and or remove the t handle that comes on most)

SLNT is amazing and they have a fob size (XS) thats ~$20 and works fine for our frequencies

No problem deactivating iy---so long as I can find my cell phone. If I were out and about and lost my phone, I would be stranded.
