DEAL 3% Under Invoice on any F-150 Tremor Order

You had me in the first half!

Maybe you did what I did once upon a time and gave them the wrong order number? I used one chip gave me that wasn’t a codified order so it had a different order number than mine ended up being lol
Looks like I'm joining you all at 8/22 week.

Just got my email this morning! 8/22 build date going through Granger. Now the spending begins; had been holding out until I got my VIN. Pulling the trigger today on an RSI cap

Finally, truck made it to Granger. Ordered in Nov, picked it up yesterday and made the drive back to north Texas. Want to especially thank Chip, Catelyn, & Granger for making this the smoothest (once arrived) auto transaction I have ever experienced. Highly recommended!

Question for those who have taken delivery. How long did you truck take to get from Kansas City to Granger? My traincar should be getting to KC this morning(if it's not there already) and I am really hoping I can fly in to pick it up Thursday. Realistic or nah?

You're getting close! Mine sat in KC for about ten days, but from what I gathered here and other f150 forums, mine arrived like a day or 2 after 20 trucks arrived at Granger, so seemed like more of a timing issue on why it didn't get there quicker

Mine arrived in KC from Detroit on 6/12 and it arrived at Granger on 6/24. I picked up on 7/1.

Oh so that last leg to Granger might take a couple weeks....bummer.

Mine took a while month sitting two hours away from Granger.

Oh man, it already sat for almost 2 months before shipping, I hope that's not the case.

Mine only took 3-4 days from KC to Granger.

However Granger salesperson just told me it’ll be 1.5 more weeks till I can pick it up because of their pre-delivery process.

Seems insanely long as other vehicles I’ve ordered I’ve picked up the day after it showed up at the dealership…

Yeah I just ordered a 4Runner for my wife and it was ready the same day the truck came in last week.....

I definitely think Granger likes to sit on the trucks, the actual price we pay for 3% below invoice.

Keeps the lots full too 👀👀🤣

Helps to understand actual turn time though, I was of the same thought process where it's delivered and I can swing out within a day or two.

Since it's feast or famine, I imagine the team that runs the PDI is small, and can easily get stacked up with a lot of deliveries. I remember them saying they even had to stop their "aftermarket department" due to staffing. My truck went from arrival to pick-up ready in 2 days.

Has anyone that bought your truck through Granger looked in to having a local (Des Moines area) truck shop install a leveling kit & swap tires before you picked up your truck? A quick google search shows a few shops; just wondering if anyone has tried this

It’s unfortunate Granger can’t do a few of these things at the dealership; would be super convenient & could be a cash flow adder with the volume of trucks going through there

Lady on the phone said it was a staffing issue
& they couldn’t get enough/quality technicians

I am wanting that rake gone asap!! LOL

& hoping I can offset some of the tire upgrade cost by trading in/selling the new takeoffs

What's involved in "PDI" and what does that stand for?

I'm going to anticipate Granger will not send out a new truck to a shop they are not partnered with. Plus it's more administration when they are short staffed.

Pre-Delivery Inspection. Inspect for damage, remove shipping film, final cleaning, etc.
