The writing I have is via email that basically says they honor X-plan for new orders. Then I placed my order in store and they verbally said they would honor X-plan, but that they don't write anything down. I'm just nervous that they won't honor itm Dealers have a bad rap for a reason.

This was exactly my situation. Dealer said they honred xplan when i ordered. Then 8 months later when truck arrived dealer offered me xplan at time of delivery (not time of order 8 months earlier). I really hope you guys do get that price protection but my dealer flat out refused to sell it below current xplan price.

edit: if the dealer said they would honor xplan they will, the issue will be if they give you a price protection on the xplan price at time of order vs today.

Just called my dealership to see where my truck is? It was shipped earlier this month and it's now in town at the rail yard!

I can't believe my luck though, I've been waiting 9 GD months and rarely go out of town but I have SeaHawks tickets and won't be able to take possession until next week! GD it!

I submitted FordPass activation and someone accepted it when it showed up to the rail yard.

Mine had 53miles on the odo. Seems odd but maybe going between lots or something. Or one of the Chicago Bears was ripping it around while it was in the rail yard for 11 days lol

Trucks here sit in the rail yard for weeks before the workers get them out due to their short staffing and backlog. Every dealership around here takes donuts to them trying to get their trucks out sooner, but only the rail yard employees can touch them.

lol everything is the Bears fault especially when the Packers suck!! Hey you guys (in rail yard) should have your sales manager call the Ford rep for your area. Mine "emailed" the rep about that hotshipping thing, it took him 3 days to get back......but the truck was at the dealer the next day so maybe there is something true to this. I can repost the old thread if needed!
