Yeah my Gm threw a piston in October.... been waiting since September for this thing... I literally CANNOT wait

have any of you guys come from a trail boss? gm dealer has a loaded 23 coming in next week. thinking about just cancelling my order and taking that

Mines in Missouri too. I call norfolk southern every day trying to get an update on it. I think ours will go to granger together.

Lower towing capacity, and I don’t believe they have the option for a Torsen or locking front diff.

Then, there’s the N/A engine which may be a good or bad thing to you.

The rest is also pretty subjective.

No option for a ProPower equivalent either.

If you’re not picking the Tremor for these the class exclusive options, it’s all pretty subjective from there.

none of those are really a concern for me. has the interior of the gms gotten better? the nice thing is its leveled from the factory, this one has a bedliner (which i had to delete to get truck built), heated steering wheel, wheel well liners. a lot of things i would have to do to the tremor are already checked off the list. 5.3 is down on power compared to the 5.0 though.

Are you settling to get a truck sooner? Only you know that answer but if you think yes then I would wait. If you wanted a Trail Boss you would have ordered one, right?

The new GM vehicles do have a nicer interior. But I believe a lot of the tech is subscription based. May want to confirm as I thought I read that somewhere.

I considered the trail boss but no pro power, front diff, less capability off road, and the fact I couldn’t test drive one anywhere when I was looking to order made my decision pretty easy. I believe ford has the edge in long term reliability too from what I’ve heard.

I have been there, I waited 9.5 months from order to delivery so I certainly understand.

Mine was built back in October and supposedly released for shipment. I have had four delivery dates from Ford come and go. I was wondering if this is typical? Why would they continue to send a date of delivery and at least not get an oops, we're sorry, it didn't ship yet?

No rhyme or reason to their processes and I never once got an "I am sorry." I learned a greater deal of patience than I had previously so that's a win.

literally in the same position your in. my diesel chevy cruze had a runaway engine in october and have been without a car too.

I got the email yesterday (the 2nd) that the truck I ordered hasn't been built yet (was originally scheduled for the week of January 23rd). Today I got the email stating was built on the 1st haha. Anyways this one was ordered on 12/5 and built 2/1 seems pretty quick to me... I bought a used Tremor 3 days after I ordered this one, so I obviously won't be taking delivery of this one.

Have you thought about looking at other dealerships whom may have inventory on hand. The dealer I ordered from was great to work with. I ended up buying one off their lot on a Saturday that arrived the day before. When my actual order arrived they offered to take the one I bought back and get me into the one I ordered. Was a great gesture. I chose to keep the one I purchased because I’m officially attached to it lol… A lot of guys on here love their Tremors and I’m one of them. Don’t settle if you don’t have to. If you’re willing to look outside your market area the dealership I worked with has 3 on hand.
