402A Deliveries?

So, the saga continues.

Went to my dealer yesterday and said what's up with the conflicting information I'm getting (See previous comments in this thread)?

they double checked and viola, the Ford customer service is either misinformed, or lying - lets hope it's misinformed. My truck is indeed on chip hold not like I was told by customer service that NO chip hold, built, waiting on transport arrangements. This is what's really trying my patience. No real information that I can actually believe from FORD.

Then, I see they have a new Tremor on the lot. Really? huh, seems some can get built and it wasn't sold, not a special order, etc. It was a 401 but I did get to sit in the truck I may never own. I asked if I were to buy this instead what kind of deal?

Absolutely ridiculous to me. They were marking it up by $5K and the increased MSRP was $68K. Now, since they recognize this is a customer service issue they offered me with my Plan X discount at around $64K.

This is my price on my 402A.

No thank you. I'm stuck waiting as it wouldn't make any sense to abandon ship now and pay the same price for a lesser truck.

....it continues.

Sorry to hear and I agree. The longer this drags on the more jaded I become in their lack of direction, communication, and execution.

I was looking a MB, too. My wife said they’re cars for old men. I just blankly looked at her and asked if she’d ever heard our son tell me I’m old.

Sheesh! And my blend was 2 days before yours. I’m still waiting for mine to ship though. I guess they’ll get around to us soon enough… those 23s will need some parking spots one they start building them next week. :ROFLMAO::censored:
Oh man, that sounds so bad. We are going to get the last of that 22s, haha.

As it continues: I received this email today;

YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN BUILT

Dear Gerald Bozarth,
Great news! Your 2022 F-150Tremor® SuperCrew has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment.
Our current estimate for delivery to Wendle Ford Sales is be‍tween October 29, 2022 an‍d November 4, 2022.

I think my patience is running thin since I started the new car process with an unfulfilled res since 2020 for a Bronco.

Any one have a experience with travel time for Convoy delivery from Dearborn to Granger? My truck should be on the road and I am unreasonably antsy about it arriving NOW! haha

I've seen anywhere from 7-9 days in the past 2 weeks. I'm hoping for 9 days and planning for about 2 weeks after for PDI with a little safety cushion.

Uff. 10 hour drive should not take more than three days. oh well.

Hoping I can fly in and pick up next weekend. Driving a rental and don't want to waste money.

I hear you, mine was convoyed from Ramp 59 to the rail yard at Ramp 58, but no rail car info yet.

Honestly, I think best case scenario is the week of 10/24. I'm planning on 11/2 and road tripping for a few days before heading home.

Mine has been at Ramp 58 since 9/28. Ford Chat said to dealer no later than 10/11, so we will see if that holds.
