Agree on that one. I’ve got active park now and feel like I can do a better job of parking. Not worth the extra money for me. Neither is blue cruise at this point. I would have opted for it if it didn’t require a subscription.

Personally the driving features didn’t appeal to me at all. I despise adaptive cruise control. I wish I could’ve got the LED taillights and the painted mirrors without spending another 6k.

I don’t have my truck yet and I’m getting the 401A so it won’t have it but I’ve drove a Lincoln with it and didn’t realize it had it and after about thirty minutes on the interstate I realized I was going about 10 mph less than I had it set for. I understand had I realized that it had that it would’ve been easy to bypass, I just find it unnecessary and kind of an excuse to pay less attention to your surroundings. I’m sure many people will think it’s wonderful and I’m sure it has it’s place, it’s just something I’m not interested in.

Something else my fleet person told me about this was that if you drive on 2-lane Hwys a lot (especially with a lot of turns or winding areas) it will mess w/your cruise speed because it perceives that you're coming up on the car in front of you when you're really head on w/opposing traffic. Not sure if this is true or not....

Blue Cruise actually came free/baked-in for the first three years on the 402A. I don’t plan to pay anything for beyond the initial 3-years you get when you buy the truck. However, it is pretty cool, and makes it much easier to eat my lunch on the freeway.

I doubt Ford will ever end up charging for it. I think automated driving will become the norm and eventually a standard safety feature on all vehicles — you don’t charge a subscription for safety. Plus I can foresee mandated use of autopilot/automated driving to help ease rush hour congestion. There will be an eventual generation of drivers that will view driving without these automated features as being odd or out of touch — like the current youngest generation sees using a standard transmission today, and most won’t be good at it either (see solution for mandated use of autopilot/automated features).

I just ordered with the 402a package. Not a thing else.

I had the sunroof in my Raptor. No problems but just didn’t use it. And you don’t make up the cost of it on resale.

I didn't order the moonroof not because of problems but I know from previous vehicles I have had with them I would not use it. Also nixed the Torsen because of how it works. The driving I will be doing it will be a waste of money and no help and just add another maintenance item. I was going to order it until I did some research on what it does and how it does it

What additional maintenance does the Torsen require?

Order the twin roof, its great especially at night. Great visibility. I've had it on my 2020 Raptor and now on my 2021 Tremor, never have had any issues whatsoever.
