What's new

Additional Price hikes coming next week, 2/15. $1500 on Tremor.

I talked to Ashley at Granger Motors Friday afternoon and she said all orders for the F150 have to be in before Monday Feb. 14th to avoid the price increase, I also placed my order for a 2022 Tremor.

Nice! What trim and options?

I thought I'd chime in here as I also have a Tremor on order with Chapman. If you go back to the Super Duty Tremor thread on page 10, someone allegedly spoke to Ashlie (my sales rep too) and recent deliveries of orders made before the price increases are automatically being adjusted when the invoice is generated, back to the original quoted DORA price. So perhaps the price protection is automatic after all and there's no manual paperwork to be filled out for the difference. Just wanted to pass this on as it sounds like I'm in a similar boat as @MtnMan.

MtnMan - would you mind sharing your build that was scheduled and your priority code? Thanks.
I emailed with Courtney from Chapman last week. I was thinking of adding the trailer tow package due to the confusion with the tow rating. I specifically asked if I was getting charged the $880 price increase from December or not. If I was getting charged then changing the order would only result in paying for the package, if I wasn't getting charged then I would keep the build as-is to keep the lower price... I will post her answer to me below.

My build is a 401a w/ torsen, trailer brake controller, sliding rear window, auto start/stop delete. I did not make any changes to the original order. Priority is 17. Order was scheduled yesterday and vin was issued. Build week of 4/4.

I'm sure as more people receive their trucks with orders prior to the increases we'll start to see a trend if the invoices are generated with the new or old pricing. Thanks for confirming your build, I've got a 402A with Active 2.0, Interior Work Surface, Trailer Tow, Torsen, and Bed Utility ordered in mid-December with Priority 17. My additional options are probably the reason why I haven't been scheduled yet.

402A High
Bed Utility Package
Partitioned Lockable Fold Flat under seat storage
Twin Panel Moonroof
B&O Unleashed Sound System
Atlas Blue
Auto Start/Stop Delete
No Torsen?

Is this on 2021 or 2022?

Guys as I stated earlier in in this thread if you built your vehicle before these price changes took place and did not modify your build they are contractually locked at that price if they try to screw you by charging more then you need to get an attorney, I promise you will win the lawsuit, then they will have to let it go at original price plus pay your attorney fees and all court costs. They also can't sell that vehicle untill court case is settled and they have to give you first deal.

If you choose not to go that route if they increased the price then you let them win. Ford itself will back you on this as they've already spent billions on court cases involving this stuff and it has cost some dealerships the ability to sell Ford products.

Well, hopefully it won’t come to that. I have had a good experience with Ford of Boerne so far.

I ordered mine back on 12/14. I spoke with Ed Simpson and Melissa Hamill at Chapman NE Philadelphia. I got the DORA and a cash structure sheet with the price. I signed all documents and sent back with a copy of DL and paid a $100 deposit. Hopefully that price is honored. Ford has sent me a build date and a VIN

I'm 66 and retired I choose to spend my money wisely, Plus I don't see a need for it my self.
Wasn’t being critical. Just seems like an extra $500 option that would be great for resale would be a no brainer on a $70k build. Plus in Upper Michigan it would sure come in handy.

Odd omission in the latest Order Guide (2/14) aligning with this price increase (see attachment).

The two-speed automatic AWD is no longer listed for the Tremor (no similar changes to other trims). I would write it off as an error, but it is in the middle of a list and otherwise seems intentional.

The Hi-Lock TC is still part of 402A and I didn't notice any other changes to the Tremor trim.

Seems like a correction. AWD was never available on the 400A or 401A.

That makes sense, I mistakenly thought all Tremors had some version of AWD (in addition to 4WD).

Many think they all should, but that's how they get us to order the 402A I guess. Only truck besides the Raptor to get the HiLock TCase.

Hmm, now this is weird.
