No email or update from my dealer. Truck has been “in production” since 8/9.

Ford told me mine was built on 8/22 and shipping to the dealer for 9/10. I did see yesterday that my Ford Pass is now showing activate, so hopefully that is a good sign. Tracker still shows "In Production" though.

Yah mine was activate now as well in the app, so of course naturally I activated but it's awaiting a start up and confirm to finish so I'm assuming whomever starts my truck will cancel the activation lol

Just spoke with Ford chat. My truck is built but on the dreaded chip hold. Eta to the dealership 9-15 September. But they did caveat that with “ the dates could change due to the chip hold…”

At least the number of trucks sitting in status has reduced from 143 since my last post to 134. That is progress. I am guessing I am likely order 134, lol.

Edit: Reach out to ford and received the following...

I do see that your vehicle has been produced with an ETA of Sep-05-2022-Sep-11-2022. However, there is a micro chip hold on your order that may cause your ETA to change.

In production since 8/18, delivery date of 9/4-9/7. Contacted ford chat... and on chip hold with no eta.. Guess I cant totally complain, Ive seen such longer wait times for other forum members

Yah same here, contacted chat today as well and it's built and awaiting "a part or chip" Wonder for what..... But she said delivery still says 9/8 but obviously that's gonna change even though the dealer is only 5.5hrs away from Dearborn. Dam chip pergotory......

I just signed the paperwork on the loan today trying to get ahead of the interest rate hikes that I believe is coming. Worst on the chip hold is the railway union could strike if a settlement isn't reached by the 15th, and of course mine supposed to be railed on up here to minnesnowta. First world problems for sure! But I wanna have fun blowing stupid amounts of my on my truck too!!

Yah I'm in between Milwaukee and Madison but the dealer is in Waukesha. Great idea on the finanaces dude, I am gonna ask my salesmen if I can check in to this but maybe they can't without the truck being done?

A dealership I ordered from wouldn't do anything with finance till it was in their possession. So I ended up going with a local credit union. As long as I had the VIN signed purchase agreement they were good with it

Hmm intresting, kind of funny because he was looking at my local CU as well for rates and everything so I think they are going to go through them anyways. I may need to investigate this!! Good call man, thanks for sparking my intrest. Maybe you should bug down here and we'll have to roll over and drive our trucks back!! I'll rent from here and away we go!!

Yeah I started shopping around last week after hearing about the Fed hike coming up , ended up getting 3.49 with a+ credit rating.. but failed to pull the trigger and got stuck with 3.79 with today's signing but I'm also putting down close to 65% (DNK if that helps with lowering the APR) I think diamond Rio said it best, let's meet in the middle, but you supply the spotted cow and we'll go ripping together!

haha I like where your heads at brother with the Diamond Rio (just saw them last summer at a local fair actually!!) Yah that probably does matter how much you put down, I'm trading in my 17 escape (they gave me 15k for it) and then I want to put enough money down to get my payments down around 5 bills (it's gonna be a good chunk of money I think) but yah I'll check in with my CU tomorrow and see what they come up with. Definietly gonna do that, sounds like you did ok I think he was looking at 4.5% when he was checking around for me. Well we may end up doing this drive anyways lets stay in touch, I am not making it to Hay Dayz this year so that sucks!
