Auxiliary Wiring harness

The wire harness extension from CB Lighting came with the pre-cut waterproof connectors, and heat shrink. you just have to cut off the Ditch light connectors and crimp the new connectors for the extension harness in their place.
Thanks! I wasn’t sure that the harness came with the adapter for the other end. Makes it easy!

Oh yeah, just found this scrolling my camera-roll and would prefer to put it here so I don't loose it.

Do those have fuses in them already or do you need to add them?
Yes, fuses are already there. I had to bump a 5A fuse on Aux6 to 15A to accommodate my Radio (50W).

I know - ford put that fuse there for a reason, but the awg of wires through out the aux harness are all the same, and some of them are rated for 15amps.

Some of those relays, on non-tremor models, are shared/re-used by other things and you can bet Ford just reused them to save money.

I haven’t had any issues putting 50W intermittently through that relay.

Have you seen this video?
Very interesting stuff.
It’s worth noting that in that video, they are using the old dd c2. Not the new c2 2.0 that got a solid performance boost along with a lifetime warranty.

Hmmm, I totally forgot about the new ones.
Hopefully they’ll do a new test.

Quick video on wire harness extension to help make connecting auxillary lights to the switches super easy.

I’ve seen a few videos on running CBL’s extension and yours is very clear and so helpful. Nice job Ty! .. (and CBL ty sir for the awesome harness!).

Got my harness a couple days ago, and got it installed. Great materials and good labels. Installed my ditch lights today, and they made a super clean and easy install. Thanks all!

Where did you get the harness from? I just got my 2026 Tremor with the 401A package Saturday. I'm new to the auxiliary switches. What all can you plug into those? I would like to put on a front light bar. Regarding lights, where would be a good site to get those?

Just want to jump in on this discussion of aux switches. I found on my 25 the fuses are mismarked. Aux 1 is fuse 175 and Aux 3 is 173. So just be aware if you blow a fuse on those 2 don’t be alarmed if you find the fuse not blown. Verify with a meter if there is any confusion.
