Well it was almost a year but finally received my new truck on Thursday .. and I can tell you it was worth the wait. Big difference from my 08 GM. Only really had the chance to appreciate her for 24 hours though as I have sent her out to be PPF'd and have the windows tinted. putting on a mat PPF.

402A, Torsen, moonroof, power gate, 2KW power onboard, Linex bed liner

Already have the Power Trax Pro XT tonneau cover, Huskey Wheel liners, Huskey Mats ready to be installed. Not sure what to do about suspension but want to put on 35's.

matte ppf was a great choice! grab a seat and research the shit out of the levelling kits etc. listed on here. more than enough info out there to read. personally i went for ready lift 2" puck style and im happy with it one day maybe will upgrade when proper coilers are released. also rear shock upgrade is next on my list.

Hopefully will get the truck back in the next day or so. Looking forward to seeing how the mat PPF looks. Have been reading all the articles to try and decide what to do. Like you light set up unfortunately here in ontario i have a licence plate cover in the way. Will have to see about moving it. What tires are you running?

I can’t wait to see your colour in matte any other colour has looked amazing. We also require front plates over where but you don’t really get bugged about it over here which is really handy. There’s a thread on here about front plate relocation not many great options just tow hook mounts. I have studded Hercules on stock rims for winter in stock size, summers are a nitto trail grappler 285/75/17 34x11 is what they measure out at.

Hi all.
Looking for some guidance for my August 15th-17th trip to Squamish. Are there places, to stay away from? My lovely bride has reserved rooms at August Jack Motoring and Executive Conference center. Are there better options?
What do I need to see while I'm in the neighborhood?

Beer
  • Howe Sound Brewing - Squamish
  • Backcountry Brewing - Squamish
  • A Frame Brewing - Squamish
  • Coast Mountain - Whistler
  • Beer Farmers - Pemberton
Off the Beaten Track Sights to Drive to
  • Paraglide Launch - Pemberton
  • High Line Road - D’Arcy/Seton
  • Squamish Valley
Other Sights
  • Brandy wine Falls - between Squamish and Whistler
  • Narin Falls - Pemberton
  • If you are up for a steep hike with amazing views head up the Cheif in Squamish. If the hike isn’t your thing head up the Sea to Sky Gondola which is next door
Whistler also has a bunch of stuff to do

If you are looking at doing some exploring up of our logging road networks I recommend getting hooked up with the following maps for the area

There’s also loads of great lakes to hit up

Let me know if you are looking for anything in particular as I live just up the road in Whistler

I am sure you will have a great time up here on your travels. Feel free to give me a shout if you want to catch up for a beer

We'll be there for my wife's 50 miler (which she'll probably drop to a 50k) so I know she'll appreciate a steep climb.

I'll be left unattended for a good 6-12 hours so a beer or 10 could be a thing.

@Yeti Honestly haven’t spent much time in Squamish. I’d highly recommend taking that road tho over to lillooett area and than either over to Kamloops area or just go back down through Spence’s bridge or Layton. Very scenic drive and a lot less people to piss you off. One thing I will recommend is between whistler and Squamish you gotta go check out “the train wreck” very casual hike in and pretty cool to check out.

Fellow Canadians, just wanted to check in and see if anyone is thinking about winter tires yet. August is usually the time I buy as they have pre season sales.

I have Ford steelies in 17" and was looking at either the Toyo open country, Cooper's, Bridgestone Blizzaks. I've been running Cooper's for the last 6 winters and they have been excellent.

Any thoughts and experience on what your running or planning on running?

I ran the Coopers on my Tremor last winter, also in Calgary. Can't complain for the price point!

Yeah that's where I'm steering towards as well, even run Cooper's on my wife's Edge. I just don't want to get stuck on a brand if there's better more improved winter tires out there.

I wanted to see if there were any Canadian Tremor owners and or orders placed. I have yet to see one and my order from July 5th hasn't even recieved a VIN yet. Let me know your situation!
Hello, I put down payment on my 2022 402a June 18th, 2022, my dealer said build week of Aug 1st, 2022, and has told me that it's on the assembly line as of Aug 5th,2022. He's on Vacation and I haven't got a VIN from him yet
2022 402a, Agate Black, Tailgate step, work bench, and floor liners, thats all I ordered.

Last year I did a few weeks of winter before the Hercules avalanche TT arrived (I also had them studded) and the difference was absolutely night and day I actually felt comfortable driving fast in my brand new truck. 10/10 would recommend and the price was decent too.

I haven't heard of those, will check them out.

How are you viewing all this? I got a vin for my 22 tremor 3 days after ordering it and wanna see my build date
I used the order tracker, there's 2 links that will work with Canadians somewhere on this forum.
