Just had both my fronts replaced under warranty. Ford does have a service bulletin regarding the stitching tearing at the seams, and considers it a warrantable repair.

Replacement front seat bottom cushion covers are roughly $250 each new.

Good to know! My truck is still under warranty but I got a quote from an auto upholstery place for $350 to remove the cover and repair it. I was hoping to avoid removing the cover because I’m sure it will never fit right again.

Yeah. It was pretty straight forward with the dealer I use for service. Had to wait a few days for the parts, and then was all done in one day.

Less than 8,000 miles and the stitching on the drivers seat is coming apart. Awesome

Take it and have it fixed !! They did my truck with 32000 miles on it !! It was under Bumper to Bumper !! Seat came apart. XLT f 150

Does everyone agree that 303 is the best protection for these kinds of seats?

Yep 303 looks great and doesn't leave a greasy film. These seats are "leather-like", not genuine animal hide.

You guys have me worried with this news. I average 4-5k miles a month in my trucks and get in and out at least 30 plus times a day. My 2022 Lariat didn’t have any issues

Noticed my stitching tearing at 23k just under year left on my bumper to bumper probably should have Ford replace under warranty. I never slide out of the truck seat so this is unusual given the mileage.

I decided to go with the 401A okg and have leather installed. Did not need moonroof etc etc.. Very happy with product. Cloth seats were great just did not want to pay more for factory leather. Did this on my 2019 Ranger as well.

The panoramic twin moon roof is optional on the 402a package trucks. Though most sitting on dealership lots seem to have it.

I did the same but loved the digi camo cloth and left it. Also hated the digital gauges on the higher model so just sprung for the xlt tremor

I rather like the look of the sport cloth seats myself. That said, price was the main reason I didn't get the 402a package. I like the digital gauge cluster though. Not that you have an option in the newer trucks anyway.

Correct, plus I tracked the one I bought because it was a 5.0. Did not want to wait on a ordered one that possibly might run into whatever problems Ford may have.

Does anyone know the rear seat part numbers for the 401a? Having some issues and considering replacing but figuring out the part numbers is challenging.

The outer edges of the seats on the 401a Tremor are the same crappy ActiveX material the "leather" seats in the 402a/402b Tremors have.
