Clunky transmission shift between 2nd-3rd gear, experienced frequently

Noticed this when I drove a '22 tremor. When I ordered I told myself I would need a transmission tune asap. However, my 23 does not do this and did not experience that hard 3-1 shift at a stop on mine or another 23 tremor.

My 21 hasn't had the issue, I would recommend to those who do to ask the dealer to check it.

Yea it's looking like most 22 models are experiencing this.

When I got my 22 I noticed the shift was a little rough down low, but I wouldn't call it clunky. At rhe time I'd been hearing of the shudder going uphill dropping from 10/9 to 9/8, and I never experienced that. I will say, with 6,500 miles on it now, the transmission has completely smoothed out, I don't even notice it's shifting anymore.

I do notice this every once in a while, particularly at lower speed. Seems like the transmission just cant make up its mind.

Same mileage, and wish I could say the same. Not as bad as it was new, but I can 100% tell when it shifts, especially down low. Wondering if it was flashed/reprogrammed by dealership, if it would relearn any differently the second time around. Or if they're programming the 23's any differently than the 22's, and new parameters would solve.

I know the first time I went into FORscan there was a transmission update that was listed, came updated before I picked it up from the dealer. Before I got it I was seriously considering a livernois tuner to smooth it out after the stories is heard......I still might, but more for HP than the trans tuning now.
