Concerns: Auto Spring 2” Level Kit

Pics or it didn't happen.
Ha, photo evidence, right?

FWIW, I lowered the back of truck today by 1.25" and the front subsequently rose by just over 0.25". Which leaves me just under 3" of rake - looks much better.

What modifications did you do to lower the back?

Replaced the stock 2.25" rear blocks with rough country 1" blocks.

I've confirmed that my suspension components are correct. I've bugged Kevin at Auto Spring quite a bit and had a reputable shop look over everything. Alignment has been done and torque specs have been verified. It seems everything is within spec and I'll just have to live with the clearance issues at full droop until I can afford a coilover system and a new UCA. Until then, I'm really happy with the height and current stance of the AS 1.5 inch kit. I am at 40.25 inches up front and 42 inches in the rear (1-3/4" rake). These Tremors have some extra squat in the rear so I like having a little rake to handle my boat and any other load I want to throw at it.

Thanks for all the help everyone (y)
How are you liking the 1.5 auto spring? Any issues with the kit? After doing some research, I think this is the route I would like to go.

Thanks

I’m happy with it. I’ve got 14k miles on my truck and have 1.5 inches of rake. Just enough to allow for some payload or towing. The control arms definitely touch the coils at full droop (front axle off the ground), but I believe that all of the AS kits do this. I’d still like to install a new coil-over system someday, but the AS 1.5 kit works just fine for now.

I wonder if this is why we’re getting too much lift. I just ran into the same problem. Started with the stage 3 2.3 kit and then ordered the 2.0 thinking it would lower me. Nope it’s the same size as the 2.3 kit.

Which is which? I assume from the photos these are both Auto Spring pucks but for comparison purposes of stage 3. 2.3 to AS 2.0 photos would be great.

You can clearly see that the puck on right is the bigger 2.3” regardless of what the boxes say.

The Stage 3 puck is still on my truck. What I meant is why would this new 2” version be so much taller than the one for the previous gen which functions exactly the same? I feel like they’re advertising a 2” part that gives too much lift because the part is too tall.

Ok, I thought that was the 2.3. Maybe the previous gen required less lift to achieve a desired height. I would give them a call. What’s the height of each spacer. I think the 2.5” spacer is 1 5/8 and the 2” is 1 3/8.

I have a 23 402a Tremor and just installed a AS 2” kit and it raised the front 2.75”😖. I verified the spacer was 1.5” thick and the box said 2” Tremor kit. I put in a e-mail to them about the issue. I’m willing to try the 1.5” kit if it’s no more than 2” of lift. Before and after, sorry about the lens flair. I am a mechanic, everything is installed properly, suspension was left loose and tightened under load, vehicle driven over 40 miles. Hasn’t went down anymore. I spoke with Auto Spring and they claim it’s due to the alignment not being done yet. I’ll get that done and I’ll let you know if it come down to the appropriate height.
Add: after the alignment it went down 1/4” so their 2” lift adds 2.5” of lift, stock my truck was 38.5” ground to fender edge now it is exactly 41” the truck only has 1.25” of rake. I’ll be either swapping the 2” spacer for the 1.5” or removing it completely. I’m not liking the CV angles although it does ride and drive perfectly,

Good morning. Just wanted to provide some feedback for comparison. I installed a Ready Lift 2” Level on my ‘23 Tremor. Got dead on 2 inches on the front and still have a 1.25” rake. Front is at 41.25 and rear wheel well is at 42.5 inches. I’m running Gen 3 Raptor Wheel/Tire combo. Tires are 34.5” vs Stock 33.5”. Went this rout as it was what my dealer is using on their mods. Roughly 6,500 miles and no issues at all. Alignment is well within specs. The Ready Lift kit is Tremor specific and comes with updates Camber parts. Just my experience.

Looking thru your old pics the truck looks great! Any visual on the CV angles or your thoughts?

I’ve attached some pictures sitting on level ground. Didn’t have time to get any with wheel off ground. Florida thunderstorm coming. Pictures are puck @ shock tower, front axle shaft, rear axle shaft.

I’m think that is the least amount of rake I’d want and would be happy with that.

I’ve only had the truck 5 months and am very hesitant to lose any stock ride characteristics, but would really like an extra 1.5 inch of lift in the front

Ride quality isn’t negatively affected with the pucks. If I did it again I would get the 1.5” pucks. 1.5-2” of front lift is ideal. Anymore is too much for me.

Damn! Just read this whole thread. Though I haven't installed them yet, I purchased the AS 2.5" pucks. I don't take this truck off rode other than the occasional two track. But, I don't want to have any problems down the road. Hmmm

Do it the right way by spending more money for a new adjustable shock spring combo.
