COTremor Build

I honestly drive in sport 100% of the time so I haven’t even experienced cylinder deactivation, glad @deepblack commented on that.

The 2R kit is great. Install was relatively easy and the ride is much tighter now. I do wish it would have resulted in a bit more lift to level out rake a bit more but I think it would only come with a sacrifice of ride quality. As long as I can stuff some version of 35s into these wheel wells, I’ll be happy.

As for the Borla s type, I’m biased but I think it is the best bang for your buck as well as exhaust note available. It rips pretty good on cold starts and is virtually stock sounding when cruising 80 on the highway. I’m sure the corsa kit is great too but dollar for dollar I’d say it’s hard to beat the Borla s type mid section.
👍thanks

It won’t allow you to shift through gears without hitting the manual button, although, you can lock out higher gears (eliminate 10, 9 etc) if say you are coming down a mountain without hitting manual.

I got it from ford parts when they were doing their 20% off accessories sale.

Thank you!

I finally yanked the 4DTech ASS eliminator here a few days ago. Then I loaded back up the livernois tune. Since then, my a/c issue has not come up again and idle is nice and smooth. @deepblack you've got some good insight man, thanks for your help.

The 1-2 and 2-3 shifts are still god awful especially on cold start and when getting on it in sport. In normal mode, it is decent enough. However, I like driving in sport. I bought some extra trans fluid but I am not looking forward to checking fluid level especially without a lift.

sorry, one more Q. Did the Eibach PT 2.0s settle at all? What was the final yield in lift for the front end. Trying to decide between these and Bilstein 6112's which advertise 1.5" lift.
Thanks in advance.
Make sure those lift numbers aren't specific to non-Tremor F150s. Most are. The Tremor already sits a bit higher so I think the rule of thumb is that the actual lift will be about an inch less than whatever the manufacturer says unless the hardware specifically says its for the Tremor.

What is the mat that you have in your bed?
I bought a carpet that fits in the bed, but I find that items in the bed tend to slide around on the carpet. I also have a sprayed-in bed liner (Bullhide).

Here it is:

I doubt this will fix your sliding around issue though. It’s fairly slick but cleans up really easy.

I have the Ford accessories one and it works just fine for me.

I recently purchased the Raptor transmission skid plate only to find out that I don't even have the "diaper" transmission splash guard. Can't believe I overlooked that. I'll more than likely have to order some additional hardware to fasten it up as I was counting to reuse some. MY 2025.

You will need two bolts and two u-nuts for the front of the skid plate. Same ones the "diaper" uses. Local dealer should be able to identify them quickly. The part numbers they ordered me were:
1. The skid plate - part # HL3Z-7222-E (you have that)
2. Four (4) bolts - part # W716831-S439
3. Three (3) bolts - part # W500623-S439 (I only needed two, but they came in a package of three)
4. Four U-Nuts - part # W719490-S439
5. Four U-Nuts - party # W520813-S439

If my memory serves me, I ended up with an extra bolt and two extra U-nuts. The parts guy seemed quite confused but when I ordered the above, I had all I needed plus a couple of extras.
My 2025 also came without the diaper; I was surprised to see what looks to be a plastic transmission pan with nothing protecting it. I'm an considering a higher capacity aluminum tranny pan from PPE.

Hope this is helpful.

This is extremely helpful. Thanks a bunch. If you do end up getting a higher capacity tranny pan, update us!

I took the plunge and ordered an Oz tune. I’m looking forward to trying an E85/91 50/50 mix.

The livernois tune actually started getting better after returning to stock and reloading it. Although, the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts were still not pleasant in sport mode.

Oz seems like they will be easier to work with if it comes to making adjustments to shift firmness etc. With Livernois, that didn’t seem to be the case.

I’ll report back on the Oz tune.

I am really liking the Oz tune compared to Livernois. The 1-2 and 2-3 shifts feel like what a WOT shift should. Quick and firm with just the right amount of finesse. The livernois tune lurched you forward with a stall almost and then got you into the next gear. It even happened at 50-60% throttle which got annoying really quick. Truck is still figuring out a little smoother 1-2 shift with the Oz tune.

I’m currently running an ethanol blend mix and the truck feels nice and peppy. The flex fuel tune is awesome and so far I’m a huge fan of Oz. Quick to ship, quick with a tune and fast responses for questions I had.

My Eibach set will get installed in a couple weeks. Did you dial them down for a better (subjective) ride or leave them set up from the factory?
I’m on the fence with Borla mid. Do you have any sound clips ?

I left the coilovers how they came, they measured out at 3.25” or ~83mm. The ride seems perfectly fine to me. Harsher than factory but in a positive way. For the Borla mid, I just listened to some YouTube videos, Borla’s website has them. The corsa exhaust sounds pretty good too.

The clips online do not do it justice. I got my S-type and Raptor exhaust tips installed 11 months ago and I have 0 regrets. Worth the $ and very good on startup. No drone on highway at all.
I have mine coupled with K&N nextgen cold air intake and I get a little whistle noise at slow speed/low throttle input too.
