Decal Tailgate Black

Finally got around to installing mine! It’s wet, dirty and cold here but I made it work. Super happy with how it came out! View attachment 2051
Looks great. What are you guys doing for install? Spraying down the area with soapy water to move the decal into place and then using a squegee to spread out the bubbles?

Or are you applying it dry with extreme patience and accuracy?

VIP is first class! I can't say enough about the level of customer service they provide. Its like no other in this day and age! Not only have they communicated with me here but also through an email conversation. They are simply awesome! Bending over backwards to try and make customers(me) happy. We all love our trucks and all have different opinions so thank you for all the help!

So, we don't reccomend using a wet install method with the material we produce in. The reason being (and we're super proud of this since no one else in our industry does it really), the material we use are second to none and have some pretty cool features. There's two big ones; low initial-tac adhesive, and air release technology. The low intial-tac basically means that the adhesive isn't "activated," until you apply pressure. It literally allows you to glide the decal across the surface without issues!

The air release technology is even stranger to explain so I'll just link a video too. The air release in our vinyl is a grid of microscopic channels in the adhesive that allows air to escape and prevent bubbles from forming. It's super strange to see in action because it looks like magic compared to what you'd expect from craft grade vinyl.

Thank you for the kind words :)

Right after getting the truck ceramic coated. Two views, shade and sunlight shows how different the orange can appear. It actually matches really well! And not to jump on the bandwagon, but VIP had great customer service. Even worked with me to make sure I had the letters before the ceramic coating.

Just installed tonight on my Antimatter. I want to see them in direct sunlight to see a few more variations. Look good

Thank you for the kind words! Also, we speak for everyone in the midwest right now... jealous of your weather right about now!

I used the Tremor Logo matched Orange (with black outline) from @VIPAutoAccessories as well and it was easy to install, IMHO looks great and feels like real high-quality material. Waiting for the Hood Stripes to drop for the next project.

Looks awesome! Hood stripes are coming soon. We ~could~ probably sell them right now (the fitment is what we around the shop like to call Etsy fitment). It's "close enough" by a lot of people's standards, but everything we make, we really strive for an OEM fit and finish. Because of this, development has taken longer than expected, but we know once we have it available for sale, it will be at an unbeatable quality.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding that like you, we're pretty much at the mercy of the Ford supply chain right now.

Where did you get the black letters outlined in orange. Love it! My Tremor will be delivered in 2 weeks, I gotta get me those.
