F150 Tremor Problems and Issues

Why? It's a Ford factory warranty, not a dealer warranty. Dealers love to do warranty work. They get paid for every little thing they can possibly justify doing.
This is correct. Most dealers would rather service your vehicle than sell you on…at least they did before $700,000 markups on Toyota RAV4 became a thing…now they would probably rather sell you one car so they can retire

Didn't know it worked that way, that makes me feel better!

And that warranty is good at any Ford dealer.

Sad to report that,1 week old and 250 miles in, my passenger side axle has a torn CV boot. No lift/mods, no off-road driving. Dealer has it now and waiting on a new axle. Hopefully it will be ready next week. I hope this is a freak thing. I’ve also got the reverse brake assist error after my line-x install. The dealer will take care of that at the same time.
Oh no. What a mess!
Hope they fix it up soon and get you back on the road.

Also, I have the spray in liner. When I pick mine up in a few weeks I think I should be checking to see if I get the error. Is it immediate or did the error take a while to show up?

My error was pretty much immediate.

It is not the factory spray in liner that causes the fault. When the after market installer (like Line-X) removes the tailgate and the vehicle is started creates the fault.

All fixed up…the dealer found the CV boot not installed correctly and opened up at the seal. They replaced the axle within a few days. Thankfully the part was available. And yes, the reverse error was immediate and was corrected while at the dealer.

Glad you got it fixed so quick!

Only had my 2022 a few days but one issue I've had is with the wireless charging pad. It keeps giving me an error saying the phone is not aligned and stopped charging, even when it hasn't been moved or even if I'm not driving. Not sure but it might be my case, which has a magnet in it to secure to a magnetized holder I had in my previous vehicle. I'm going to try a different case and see if that resolves the problem.

I've got a rockform magnetic phone case for my mount on my Harley. I've never been able to get it to wirelessly charge while that case is on, no matter what wireless charger I use.

Bought by Tremor in Sep. Just hit 3k miles. Unfortunately I've had some hard downshifting resulting in what I call a clunk or bang from 5th to 4th or 5th to 3rd on a regular basis only when the truck is warm. Didn't get much support from the dealer yet... Made appt, took it in and they tell me they are backed up 4 weeks and have to leave the truck on their lot in order to look at it. For my truck, it wasn't throwing codes or anything and the service manager took a quick ride and heard one of the softer clunks on the downshift but shrugged it off as this being normal for these transmissions.

Ultimately just had them log the issue as I couldn't leave the truck for 4 weeks... Don't get me started. Ironically put about 400 miles on it since I picked it up and it only has done it 1x where it was doing it 5-10x a week prior. Anyone else have shifting issues?

Not yet but I had the same issue on my 2018 and it needed a software update to fix it. It's under warranty so I would just mash on it till it breaks? Haha.

I have a small issue with the rubberized trim section at the base of the windshield. I assume a heat gun would be a quick fix but I feel the dealership should take care of it. I also got the Line-X bed liner installed and now have the “Reverse Brake Assist Not Available” I’m hoping I can get both issues address at the same time. View attachment 731
Did they manage to fix that reverse issue? I have that too

They did. Did you remove the tailgate recently?
When i bought my truck they sprayed the liner and then had that message. Took it to dealer and they took care of it but nope.

Truck went into limp mode, engine light came on after a long crank. Tried driving and it would not go past 30 mph. The rpm needle would climb but speed would not.

Opens the Ford pass and got this alert about the Fuel Engine Control System having issues.

Scanned it with a generic OBDII AutoLink and found two error codes

900C6: Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low - Engine Cranking Bank1

P0193: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit High

Update

Dealer performed EEC Test DTC’s
P00C6
P0193
P0193 Pin point test
Check PID monitor
Tested fuel pressure in spec

Re-set KAM & cleared codes

Performed software updates

This was last week.

Today check engine comes on again with same issue.

Should I ask for replacement of HPFP , sensors, both?

I’m in California, if I have to deal with this 4x it’s eligible for lemon law arbitration.

Hope it doesn’t get to that.

At 7k miles my truck was in the shop for 56 days over 2 months for a misfire. Had a low pressure injector and high pressure injector on cylinder three replaced without correction. Eventual had to have the cylinder head repelaced and it corrected it. 8k miles since without a hiccup

Did your symptoms/problems ever show up as DTC PO193 that led to attempting injector replacement followed by the cylinder head?
