What's new

F150 Tremor Problems and Issues

Update

Dealer performed EEC Test DTC’s
P00C6
P0193
P0193 Pin point test
Check PID monitor
Tested fuel pressure in spec

Re-set KAM & cleared codes

Performed software updates

This was last week.

Today check engine comes on again with same issue.

Should I ask for replacement of HPFP , sensors, both?

I’m in California, if I have to deal with this 4x it’s eligible for lemon law arbitration.

Hope it doesn’t get to that.

Update 5/15

Malfunction Indicator Lamp With DTCs P0627, P025A, P025B, P00C6, P008A And/Or U0109

Some 2018-2023 F-150, Expedition, Navigator, Transit, Aviator and Explorer vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0627, P025A, P025B, P00C6, P008A and/or U0109 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to an intermittent or partial disconnect of the harness to the fuel pump control module (FPCM) connector, connector pin push-outs, damaged pins/terminals, or loose/corroded grounds. Inspect FPCM connector, applicable grounds (F-150 - G401, Expedition/Navigator - G403, Transit - G401, 2018-2019

Dang man. Good luck to you. Sounds miserable.

I had my truck for about 18 hours and 100 miles when I got the "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" All of the tire pressures were dashed out. Not a big deal, but pretty frustrating after a long wait and a lot of money for the truck to have issues on day 1.

So far, only a few issues. When backing up the drivers side rear sensors go off saying im going to hit something, even in an open parking lot.
Sometimes the sync 4 is glitching out and doesnt act right. but its been pretty minor.

Oh and the cold exhaust rattle. Super annoying.

I’ve had one issue so far, I developed an exhaust leak on the driver side they had to replace the catalytic converter at 1700 miles no issues besides that.

Are you doing automatic software updates on the vehicle settings? Basically asking if these things are happening on their latest updates available over the air .

Dealers actually don't love warranty work. You can't be speaking from experience.

Damn check engine back again, 5 days after getting it back from when they replaced a harness.

I had to pull off the freeway as truck would not go over 50mph. Limped the rest of the way to my destination.

It’s at the dealership now for a 3rd time in 6 weeks of ownership.

3 times is teh charm for CAli lemon law. I have won several times over the years.
Yes already reached out to friends / family and got two lawyer reccomendations. Its time 🍋

Update

Trucks been running error free for almost a month now after third repair attempt.

Ok, so I received my new tremor and drove it less than 50 miles when I noticed that I was getting dizzy and not sure what was going on, finally realized that there is a warp in my windshield right in front of the driver view.
Sadly I cannot drive the truck more than a few miles before it really messes with my eyes.
Its like bifocals, but very subtle, after 5-7 miles of looking ahead and then back at the car in front of me, I start to feel dizzy and pretty headachy.

I got it over to the dealer closest to my home and sure enough they saw it and a new windshield is getting put on tomorrow
Thank God!!

Kudos to my local dealership South Bay Ford

I stopped driving it, Im still on the first tank of gas after 5 weeks of owning it....ugh

Not sure I'll get the 75th anniversary windshield again , but at this point , I just want to drive my truck.

My mobile tint guy is the only other person that I have heard of that experienced the same exact problem on a 2011 F-150
