Ford Tremor Orange

Thoughts?

Making it the same color as the upper wrap would also make sense but if I'm doing all this work on Active/agent/electric orange/spice, I may as well use it. I'm undecided on the tailgate, though. Maybe something a bit more personal..
Looks good, personally I would put a low opacity black outline around it to make it pop/contrast more though.

hehe, While I understand what you said(ish) I think we should all fully realize that I'm as capable as my huskies when it comes to graphics.

Lmao basically opacity is the transparency of something. So less opacity makes it less solid, or less visible.

A less opaque black outline will give it a contrast so the logo looks crisp and defined, but it will blend somewhat with the matte grey so its not too defined.

That looks mean!

Looks like you edited it to have a drop shadow, it looks much better imo like that, more defined.

When ya'll are done doing computer stuff, post the .svg or whatever so we can all use our local vinyl guy to mod as we'd like 👏

I’m jealous that I didn’t come up with this. I like that a lot.

lol, let's call this what it is. I saw someone's original idea (that was a ripoff of someone else's idea) and tweaked it enough to where you guys could understand what I was thinking and now will let someone else do the real work (after I figure out this damn color of ours)

To me it looks like Electric Spice Metallic.
Just tested out Electric Spice Metallic. It's much darker than our Orange. I'll do a couple of multi-coat runs but if it's too dark now, I don't expect it to get lighter.

@Yeti, I’m assuming you haven’t painted those tow hooks yet? I’m super curious to see orange on the back. I still don’t get why they left them black, they’d be fricking awesome in the Active Orange!

@Cranbery keyed us into this thread, and we might be able to offer some help! So, like someone had mentioned, the orange on the Tremor is VERY inconsistent across the truck. There's at least five different oranges on the truck from the interior orange trim, the seating piping, bedside tailgate decal, front grille line, and tow hooks. Overall, the interior trim, seating piping, and front grille are all close enough to look the same unless you're REALLY looking at it closely.

That being said, for the decals we're producing we're likely going to match to seating piping since it is the only orange we identified without metallic flake in it (which makes color matching for print a massive headache). Once I make sure with our paint guys that our department's color match work will translate with any success to automotive paint we'll definitely help out as much as possible with this! Don't hold us to too much though since print color and paint color uses completely different standards (auto paint being a lot more standardized tbh).

TLDR; There's like 5 or more different oranges on the Tremor, so color matching to every orange element is pretty impossible :/ . BUT, the interior trim, seating piping, and front grille are all close enough to look the same unless you're REALLY looking at it closely.

Where did you have those made?

I haven't painted them but I did test the two colors I ordered. Neither were even close. Both were too dark. I have a local guy who is a paint genius. I'll speak with him, next Wednesday on finding a good blend. To @VIPAutoAccessories point, there are a bunch of colors. When i get the same metallic that is on the gills, grill and tailgate badge, I'll post it.
