Front End Auxiliary/Off-Road LED Light Options

Looks good and it’s great to hear that there is no wind noise, that was one of the main reasons I was avoiding these. Which light pattern did you go with to avoid glare off the hood? Thanks!
I went with spots same as on my last truck I use them primarily for highway driving and the glare on hood doesn’t bug me at all and this trucks even ceramic coated so it’s shiny af.

I’m thinking Baja squadrons in the bumper and/or Baja S2’s in the grille for a more discreet install.
Would have to fabricate brackets but should be doable. Cut out some cardboard to get an idea of the sizes.

Have been thinking a lot about the bumper as well. I’d like to re locate the license plate and put either rigid or diode dynamic lights in there. With the license plate already taking up so much intercooler airflow I don’t feel comfortable adding any more restrictions. I like the grill idea though!

That's where I mounted baja squadron sport's on my old '09. I was considering that location on the Tremor as well but worried about too much interference with airflow if the BD's and the license plate were there.

Here in Oklahoma, we don’t need no stinking’ front license plate 😏. Maybe that’s my answer. Remove the front plate and allow for replacement with equivalent area of lights (like two BD squadrons or something).

I can’t wait to move out of my over regulated, big brother loving, hyper taxing nanny state . A few more years…..
Come to South Carolina. Sales tax on vehicles is capped at $500, there are no yearly vehicle inspections, you can ride around on the front of a boat in motion shooting birds with a shot gun and if you ask the general population in my area, we don’t have the corona virus.

Sounds like my kinda place! You don’t have a californication problem do you?!? 😂

No damn it they're all moving to TX, TN, and FL, I disowned a friend because he sold his house to one!
Don't forget Idaho. I read an article yesterday that Idaho has the most inflated property value in the US right now because of them. Let's hope as businesses start to open office back up and remote work declines, that the universe will right itself.

Amen but then my house might lose the $150 k increase it's seen last few months!

Bringing things back on topic, how are the OEM lights? It was something I had wondered about. I agree with liking the clean look of the OEM lights, but damn....I sure love my Baja Designs amber SAE's. Given my experience with them, I'd likely choose utility over the looks. That said, if they performed well, then I'd keep them.

In all honesty they blow my 17 fx4's lights out the door, for offroad use I would want something a bit more on the ground and definitely putting lights at the back would help for moving backwards at night, but overall the stock lights are better than I'm used to.

That's the type of lighting I'm wanting, we could see 800 meters all around us.

That's the nice thing about the BD set. You could do 2-SAEs for fogs and add in some Pro or Sport squadrons with spot, wide cornering or mixed lenses. Run the fogs to the factory fog switch and the off-road lights to an AUX.

Currently on my Raptor I have:

Front:
2 x SAE amber fogs
2 x S1 wide cornering lens
2 x Squadron Sports with spot lens

Rear:
2 x S1 wide cornering lenses (don't bother with the scene lenses...not wide enough)

I’ve got diffused flush mount Rigids I’m putting in the rear and have been really looking at the BD fog light pods but I’m in the same boat, I really like the bottom of the “C”! Lol.. I’ll probably get the BD’s with amber fogs and driving lights though..

Alright got the bumper lights installed! Middle three are spots and outer ones are fog pattern wired in on separate switches with 2 pin deutsch connectors in case I want to change switch orientation. Bracket was easy AF 1-1/2”x1/4” flat bar. Install was kinda tricky but I chose to keep the air shutters in front of the intercooler. On paper those combined with the ditch lights it’s 33,600 lumens (I know lumens is kinda bullshit number) still need to get them a little more straight but Close enough for now.

That looks great! Exactly what I’d like to do. Did you happen to see where the radar was for the Adaptive Cruise Control is? Still on the drivers side behind the plastic?
