Headlight leveling / adjustment needed after truck leveling with 402a package?

My ‘23 401A needed adjustment after a 2” Level. Did it according to the instructions in the Owners Manual. Was a piece of cake. Definitely was getting high beam flashed. Everything else appears to be working properly.

The arm that controls the auto level is attached to the upper A arm, if you level the front end, the A arms droop same as they would with a loaded bed. The auto level headlights will work with a level kit. I’m sure it puts you lower in the overall travel range though and if you then squat the rear you may run out of headlight travel.
It works, but won't be at the correct aim point.

Mine wanted to be FARRRR too low after a level kit raised the nose. Use your own eyes and measurements to re aim them against a flat wall on a flat surface after a level.

I updated my wheel arch height under IPMA and I swear it helped stop my ACC acting weird sometimes after my level.

Not mine, found on the tube
I think I must be missing it, but I didn't see the light on the garage going down as he turned the screw.

Edit: Okay, I rewatched it and see it now. It's the FAR right side going down (I was looking at middle right). So how far down do you need to go?

Same as stock. Flat level surface 25ft from a wall, measure center headlight to ground. Take that measurement and mark tape on the wall. Aim light just below the tape 25’ away
What I’ve done till I can find the level surface (remember roads and lots are pitched for drainage) is put tape on my garage door before lift and adjust to that. Not perfect but close to dot approved

Thanks for that 👍 I had a 2 inch level and thought I was fine since I had the auto leveling lights in the 402a, but it looks im going to need to check this out.

I need to pick up a longer, skinner Philips screwdriver to get to the screw. I'm looking at one on Amazon, does a PH2 fit well?
