How long after ordering do you get the email with the VIN and Build Date

I ordered from Granger.Got my window sticker and confirmation email last week about being in production on 5/22.Window sticker has blend date as 5/22.Will post a update again when I get more info from Ford.

I ordered mine on 4/8, on 4/13 received a VIN and a scheduled build for the week of 5/15 (Looks like the update their production plans on Thursdays). On 5/11 the order was updated and the build date moved to the week of 5/21, I was able to download the window sticker at this point and it showed a blend date on 5/21. I checked my order the morning of 5/22 and the order showed that the truck was built 5/21, now waiting to ship. (Star White, 402A, all of the options except the moon roof)

I got a call from the dealer today that my truck is expected on 6/13 now. I received the "Built" email this morning. Tracking site currently shows this:

Tracker behavior:
The "Scheduled week" moved from 5/12 to 5/19 then finally locked down on 5/20.
The tracker "status pip" was set to In Production, but no date was set from 5/17 to 5/21, and then was updated to 5/20 on 5/21.
Built email didn't go out until 5/23.

Looking like 2.5 months for a fairly loaded Carbonized Gray Metallic 402a. Maybe things are getting back to normal, supply chain wise?

I am going to considering myself lucky, ordered 3/30/23 just got an email saying it’s built, on Friday 5/19/23 although it is not shipped yet

I should mention that i received an email saying that my tremor order was going to be delayed due to supply chain shortages..and that I would get an update every 45 days….
I was bummed to say the least, but on the next day, I got an email saying it was built!?!

When I ordered it, my dealer said that if I asked for spray in liner, or special bed mat , tonneau etc.. basically anything extra that could possibly be on back order that the truck would not get built.

Where does Sticket show date? My sticker has 2 dates. One in the white border middle of bottom and one in the special order box showing 5/18. Tracker just shows “in production “ with no date. Think it was built today?

The blend date is at the top of the window sticker.That was the date the email said would be built that week and got email today that it was built and waiting for shipment.Was explained to me that blend date is when they have all the parts available and on the line for your vehicle to be built.Maybe others with more experience will chime in to verify as I am no expert on all this just info I gathered from others.Good luck and hopefully your truck was built today.

I bought the truck from a dealer in Texas that I have friends at. That said, I spoke to them today and they assured me that I did not get any special attention. I just did as I was told, and NOT order anything extra that could possibly be back ordered or out of stock..i.e. anything aftermarket including spray bed liner, tonneau etc. He stated that if anything was on backorder or out of stock, it would have put my truck out of rotation for the current lot of Tremors being built. Hope this helps...

I also didn't order any aftermarket things, I can handle those myself when the truck arrives.

When I placed the order, they told me that the power tail gate was currently backordered and it might push the truck out into August, but that didn't turn out to be accurate seeing how it's now built.

Sadly no. I check every day, and it's still waiting for shipment. The window sticker says it's coming via RAIL, so not sure how long that takes. Under a week now to the expected date, so hopefully it's still on time.

I called the dealer yesterday and they don't see it shipped yet either. They also weren't sure why. Actually said it may arrive this month or next (what?!), but no idea when at this point.

Super frustrating to see that the truck is built and now just sitting there waiting to be shipped. C'mon Ford!

Today's update: still waiting, but my sales guy says they bumped their shipping dates to 6/13-6/19. Potentially going to just keep bumping them as they miss them, who knows. Just amazing to me that it takes this long to ship it out after it's built.

Shipping has been a big issue for a while. There's a major shortage of truck drivers. Truckers have far more business then they can handle.

First post in this forum. Future (soon) Tremor owner here and thought I would share my timing. Ordered 5/4. Received Vin 5/13 with a build week of 6/12. Received the "Built" email today (6/14). 502A, no bedliner (i'll have that done separately). Pano roof, 2k generator, pretty much loaded.
