How long after ordering do you get the email with the VIN and Build Date

So this just arrived in my email... Today's June 27th. I'd be pleasantly surprised.

Not that I'm aware of. Not sure what rail carrier it'd be to Vegas. We'll see what Friday brings.

I finally got my email and vin! Took a whole month from order date. Build July 31. I can’t wait!

Got my VIN and it said it would be getting built week of 31st July.

Ordered: 6/14/23
VIN received: 6/29/23
Build Scheduled: 7/31/23 (estimated off email)

The latest from the dealer. Looks like it's actually moving, although I highly doubt that ETA of tomorrow at 5pm. That'd be a mighty fast train from Chicago, but hopefully soon!

The dealer shared the VINView readout for it. There's no guarantee it's on a train, it could just have been moved to Chicago to get on a train. Who knows at this point. The Vehicle Tracking page seems to have bugged out today, and is showing the current status pip as "order confirmed," so who the hell knows what's going on. Hopefully I get good news from the dealer this week, butI think rail is going to take a couple weeks to get here.

Damn that long to ship? Crazy but at least it’s on the way and who knows maybe it’ll show up sooner. Mine is still pending being shipped. Hopefully it won’t take 3 months to ship it.

Somewhere between Dearborn and the dealer. Biggest frustration of mine is that I’ve been doing most of the dealer’s work myself because they have been largely unresponsive.

That’s too bad that you’ve had to do the leg work for them. There must be some sort of hood up with the railway services. I know when I ordered my truck my dealership said the turn around time for the Tremors was at 2-3 months. This is a much needed work truck for me so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that timeline stays accurate.

My delivery timeline has gone from 7/4, to 7/10, to now 7/20 on the tracker I can see online… But yeah, yet another frustration with Ford and this dealer… Trying to stay strong here

Man, NW Iowa isn't that far, it shouldn't take 2+ weeks to get there. I'm right there with you on the excitement/frustration level. Hopefully we get the trucks soon(tm)!
