Input on Twin Panel Moonroof & 2KW Pro Power Options

I have both - love the sunroof - haven't had use for the power yet.

Well, I had it in my 2015. It really wasn’t noisy and it didn’t leak in 195,000 miles, BUT I had a terrible time getting it to open. It’s like it would stick and I’d have to hit the button for 20 minutes going down the road to get it to open. That being said, I ordered it on my Tremor hoping that they had worked out all of the kinks in the last 6 years.

Lube the tracks with this grease a couple times a year and it wont leak and will operate smoothly.

That stuff does work wonders for the rattle for about three months. Anyone want to go in on the big jar? A value buy at $3,500!

The Krytox works wonders, silicon spray the entire gasket, open and close it a few times a month, keep the drain tubes clean and they can be problem free. I wanted to order mine without it as I may run a roof rack along side my bed rack. But changed my mind last minute for resale. Everyone loves the big roof when its open. Ordered the 2K Pro Power. I have a SoGen I can charge at 800 watts when running and 150-200 watts with the solar panels. Should be able to keep the fridge running 24-7 without shore power.

There’s a TSB about it(attached) Gave me the confidence to order with the moonroof. Though I am now more prone to T-Rex attacks.

I ended up with the giant moonroof but without the larger ProPower option (at least I think- only a single outlet in the bed, but also one on console in front and rear). I thought I'd originally be indifferent about the moonroof, but now that I've drawn the shade back a few times, it's really nice feature for everyone in the cab. Mine hasn't had any issues in it's 3500 mile life- but that's not to say it wont ever.

If you follow the recommended cleaning and lube schedule it should be trouble free

I have the moon roof and 2kw pro power on my Tremor. There doesn’t seem to be much wind noise with the moon roof…unless it’s open. And I love the natural light coming into the truck on a beautiful day.

As for the pro power… it’s very noisy to me. I turn it off immediately. I’m still glad I have it, though. Also, I heard that Ford knows about the noise issue and hopefully is working on an update to fix it.

I seem to remember an SB for the noise issue came out a few months ago.

Hey cjreyes! Adding a big moonroof and extra power to your 2022 Tremor sounds exciting! The moonroof could make your truck feel brighter and bigger inside, but yeah, check if it's noisy or leaks. The power option is great for using tools on the go, and a little fan noise shouldn't be too annoying. Good thinking to ask others if they like these features before you choose. Hope your Tremor turns out awesome!
