Installed Amp Research power running boards

Anyone that is looking into getting these. I may be looking at trading mine for the stock running boards plus some cash.

I am interested… only thing is we live so far away that shipping could be a PITA for both of us.

Also… don’t have my truck yet so there’s that.

My tire/wheel combo provides results in enough poke that I'm scared of the potential for rock chips and I think the stock boards would offer more protection. I have a gravel driveway, live off a dirt road and do a good bit of gravel driving.

Also, I feel like the stock boards set the truck apart from the other F150's (Platinum, Lariats, etc.).

Figured something like that. It's why I haven't gotten rid of my stock ones.

Fwiw - stock tremor won’t throw any more rocks than any other stock f150. Many of those don’t have any running boards. It’s just that my tire/wheel combo sticks out and I’m a little worried about the rock chip potential.

My last truck has 34” AT3s but they didn’t stick out. Never worried about rock chips and had the factory power steps.

Mine stick out a bit also, i commonly hear rocks hit the running boards. If it wasn't for them, they'd be hitting the truck lol. I do like the classy fold out running boards, but these are more practical. They are also good for if you happen to rub up against anything since they stick out.
