Is 2" Level enough for 35's?

Hi there! I'm new to this forum and there might already be a thread about this, my apologies if so.

I just put a 2" Autospring level on my truck and I wanted to know if GY Duratrac RT 285/75r18 tires (essentially 35s) will now fit without rubbing?

Any firsthand experience or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much!

35X12.5X20 18 offset TOYO with a 2.5 inch lift and no issues with any rubbing or mods needed.

Yeah. What tires are you running? I'm guessing the autospring kit?

That is interesting. I have an inch between the Icon billet UCA with a +6 wheel and a 12.2 inch wide tire.

I’d say it’s about an inch from the UCA and I haven’t flexed it fully. The kit is a auto springs 2.3” kit
Something tells me that your initial thoughts on clearances might change.

Ive driven the truck now about 75 miles with the new tires. Gone into alot of parking lots and my driven kinda makes my truck flex anytime I pull out. All good still no rubbing. Still have not full flexed it to see how it fairs.

Happy to report the tires fit perfectly with NO RUBBING! 👌

In summary for others out there I did:

2" Autospring level, which left just over 1" rake. Looks pretty much level to the naked eye.

Installed 285/75r18 Goodyear Duratrac RT to my stock 18" rims and they fit great. No issues and the ride still feels like stock.

Thanks again to all who responded to this thread, I appreciate the info! I was nervous about spending $1800 on tires, only to have them cause unneeded problems.
I have the same tires and size on my Tremor with 2inch level, only rubbing I had was my gatorback flaps which I fixed.

@Machine we got em!

No rubbing on factory offset with 35x12.5s? That's news to me.

How much clearance do you have between your upper control arm and the inner side-wall? Have you flexed it out yet at full lock?
Yay!

Do you happen to have a picture of the tire poke from the wheel well looking down the side of the truck? Thanks!

😳….I’d be shocked if said pic request is posted.
If he does post it, it’ll be quite rare.

Just put on some Falken Wildpeak AT4W 35x11.5r18s. Bilstein 6112s for a 1.5” lift in the front. OEM wheels and offset. Everything clears except the skid plate at max turn. I ordered some .375” spacers and an RCI skid plate to see which I like the best. There is also ~3/8” clearance to the upper ball joint so I will probably use the spacers regardless.

And I can’t forget forget the most important clearance

So refreshing not to mention very rare to see someone posting a proper picture that actually shows how much or how little poke a certain tire has.
Well done sir. 😎
