Good morning guys, it started out to be a good day. Looking at my email i got one from ford this morning truck is done and will be at my dealer next week. The wait is almost over.
Hope all you guys got the same email as i did!!!!

That is good news!

No email for me, but it looks like you were ahead of me originally… your date was pushed to 4/24, mine is 2 weeks after that.

But hey! This is a move in the right direction! Post up some pictures when you take delivery!

I didn’t get that email but it looks like my pushed back estimated delivery was about a week behind yours so hopefully I’ll get notice next week?
Excellent news for you and keep us updated. I think you are the first one to move out of purgatory.

Good for you! Did your Ford pass app give you any indication that anything had changed? Like did “Activating Vehicle” pop up in the app?

no nothing on there has changed accept it has activate vehicle now as an option.

Excel lent. “Activate Vehicle” option seems to be a good indication as Ford isn’t always good at sending emails.

Good to see there's finally some movement for you guys! Hopefully that means things are moving, and those of us still waiting on VINS might get good news in the next few weeks. I'm excited for the day when build week/vin threads all die and we can focus on the fun stuff.

I was thinking about that the other day. I might have to find a second job or new hobby. Not sure what I’ll do with all my free time not having to check these threads and trackers all day.

Auto trader in Canada only show like 60 tremors available and almost all look like still not on the lot. checked with Ford and they said nothing more than I already knew. Eta April 27-May 3 microchip at plant hold
jealous to seeing how many people are getting later blend dates delivered in such short time frames as we wait in the empty lost lot of Dearborn

I’m still optimistic. There’s been two people this week from that build week that have gotten ship dates. I think both had a blend of Jan 10th.
One of the guys on Facebook said he didn’t get any updates after the chip hold and the truck just showed up.
We shall see.

From what I know someone has the accept the activation request inside the truck. I’ve see someone with a bronco got lucky and got theirs to work.

Nice! Wish this type of info was readily available online! But even so, it still helps to hear someones ride is getting closer.

I also have the spray in Ford Bed liner... so it doesn't seem like that should slow it down if yours is sprayed already.

When was your blend date? And... have you seen your "activate" button in the Ford Pass app?

Yeah I agree, it got me a little more excited seeing what it actually needs and hearing that the bed liner was done.

My blend date was Jan 13. I do NOT have the active button yet. I am also in Canada, so not sure if that affects things or not.

Truck is a 402a w/moonroof if you were curious

My dealer has been ghosting me and finally called back. He said it has been built and is on "Chip Hold", with and expected ship date of 04/18/2022. And I should expect it at the dealer first week in May. About a month earlier than the Ford Tracker use to say. But he could just be appeasing me with BS.

I'd buy that. There has been virtually no scheduling for new builds since January browsing the Gen 14 forums. I think a few went through this week but there's no scheduling next week. Job #2 is supposed to start on March 21st and I've got a 3/28 build date (though I suspect that's getting pushed to 4/4 unless they actually do get through all the unfinished trucks.)

Not exactly true, although it might make me feel a little better if it was. I’ve seen a few posts about dudes ordering in/after January and already having build dates, which is what prompted my unhappy reply in that thread. There’s just no apparent rhyme or reason to Ford’s scheduling system.

Right, virtually none but not zero, and I worded that weird. They are not doing a lot of actual production, but tons of reports going out about scheduling. I've gotten 4 "Your F150 is schedule for production on X" e-mails now and gone from 2/28 > 3/21. There was no production the weeks of 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, and upcoming on the week of 3/14. At this rate I suspect I'll get at least 2 more delays pushing me to 4/4 (assuming they can actually get the inventory to catch up on everything by end of March as planned).

I could also be entirely mistaken in how I'm interpreting the data since there's zero consistency from report to report. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
