Letter inserts (yay or nay)?

Looks pretty good. It's that "copper orange" you mention the "Tremor Orange Met" LUDesignsNY calls out? Just curious because that's the color of the ones I received.
Copper Metallic was the one I got. He didn't have the Tremor Orange Metallic until after I had purchased mine. I'm curious how different they look. But, I am happy with the one I got. The color closely matches the Tremor logo on the tailgate and is similar to the color in the side vents too. With all of the active orange accents being different shades or variations of orange... it sorta fits right in with the overall color scheme of the truck.

To the original quesiton, I opted to go for the 'less is more' as far as exterior aesthetics and adding stickers.

I say this as I'm about 24 hours away from wrapping the roof of the truck in satin black vinyl.

That's just enough of an accent.

I purchased the ones off of the ETSY site LUDesignsNY in the gloss black with copper orange outline. I think they look pretty sweet on my 22' AMB. Here are a few shots of my truck, Ole Bleu.

Looks good! I wasn’t sure how I would like the tailgate letters on the AMB but this looks awesome IMO.

I would love to hear about your brake calipers? Did you DIY or have someone do them? What color? - also… curious what your running for a level?

Thanks for the info! Looks just how I’m hoping to finish mine up

I was considering asking VIP to make me one but with an Oxford white fill and orange outline, so it doesn't stand out as much but is also a nice accent.

As promised, here's the Gloss Black with Tremor Colored border. It's definitely closer to the side bed decals. The trimmer logo on the back is more orange and less bronzy colored.
Nice, thanks for sharing!! i think maybe once its on the truck it will look allright?!

I had a local shop here on the north shore (Flawless Custom Tint and Detail) hand paint the calipers. They used a color called Cyber Orange Effect, paint code SB. I had them tint the windows, ceramic coat exterior, windshield protectant, interior protection and tire coating. Also, for the level kit, I went with the Auto Spring 2" level kit for the Tremor. Here are some additional photos of the caliper painting in process.

Looks like you have black lugs on there too. Looks great, like the calipers.

For those of you who have done the VIP Auto ones, did you use soapy water? The directions supplied don't mention it, but in the video they do. Not something I've ever done, trying not to screw it up haha

I like the looks of that! What did they charge you?

You don't use soapy water. The decal let's you readjust it, just don't press it down hard until it's perfectly in place. That's what they said when I asked about using soapy water.

I ordered the VIP ones and was nervous about messing them up. I went to a local graphic shop and paid $15 to have them put them on for me. They look great! Money well spent!

Thanks! Yeah I replaced the chrome lugs with the black Gorilla (61148BCX) ones. I think they look a lot better on the truck, especially with all of the logos being blacked out too.

Thanks! It cost me a total of $3480 for all the work that they did. But the caliper painting was about $800 of that cost. It was well worth it in my humble opinion.

Been thinking about adding some letter inserts. AmericanTrucks is selling black platinum steel versions (overpriced), and I photoshopped mine with the look. Yay or nay?
It sure does make the F150 a lot more visible! That's for sure.
But its not for me.
Personally I think less is more. I like the sleeper look with no badges or stickers.

I like it. I am going to look around here in Lubbock to see if anyone does it!

I just received the set I ordered from LUDesigns and they look pretty good. He sent a link to an install video using water but not soapy water. I wasn't very impressed with the install. He has the F way too far left onto the raised portion. Looks like someone's first attempt at doing this. Instead of using a felt edged squeegee, he was pressing with his thumb creating lumps and bubbles that he said would mostly vanish when dry.
