Letter inserts (yay or nay)?

I had a local shop install them after they did the paint correction before ceramic coating. There were a few air bubbles in the "F" and the "0" after install but after a couple of weeks in the sun they have disappeared and are completely flat now. I agree with you on his video instructions though. Good luck with getting your inserts installed and I hope you're pleased with the outcome as well. They do look great once on the truck.

Okay so I finally installed the letters that I got from LUdesignsNY. For the most part they went on pretty easy following his video instructions. I have quite a bit of experience putting stickers on like this but usually the vinyl I use is a bit thicker as it's applied to motocross bikes. I need to let it stay in the Sun for a while to get rid of a few of the smaller bubbles but I'll update everyone with how it actually finally works out after a week or so of sunlight. There's some pics.

They look good. He used just water on the install in the video. I installed some on the Raptor I used to have and added a bit of soap and that made positioning really easy. Tempted to try that when my truck arrives.

I have a very strong interest in doing this. But with a twist. Would like to use a color matching ghosting effect with orange outline. Similar to how “Ghost” police cars are marked. When seen at night it pops….
Have any of you seen stickers made with this type material?

I have Black reflective on my 2018 f150 shows black in day refkects at night
