What's new

Livernois will never be able to tune the ‘23 3.5 Ecoboost

Every time any manufacturer updates things to make a vehicle "impossible to tune", eventually someone cracks it. If a company believes that there is a market where they can make money they will continue to work on it until they figure it out. I have no doubt that at some point the '23 3.5 will be tunable.

I would certainly hope so but the quoted language in my original post is directly from an email from Livernois.

I spoke with MPT, and they said while it's not currently supported, they anticipate 2023's to eventually be cracked. It's just a new PCM, so who knows... I can't think of any vehicles that were locked when new that never got cracked. I think maybe newer Supra's are still not opened up, but not sure... I've got hope. I don't want 600hp, but an easy 91 tune with better different shift strategies would be neat. I've experienced no problems with power or transmission, however, so I'm not even convinced I need a tune.
