Loud undercarriage

Rocks hit my running boards all of the time, even with mud flaps. It happens about every time I hit the pavement after going down my gravel driveway. Personally I don't really care.
Does it sound like a meteor shower in an mrap?

Haha...it's definitely loud. Sounded pretty much the same as my Toyotas.

I guess I've been sound spoiled with my previous two trucks/sliders. I'm looking forward to my steel sliders and a can of rhino liner

Lmao @Yeti most people probably doesn't know what an mrap is. Spent my fair amount of time hunting IED's in them.

The MRAPs were just being fielded as I was getting out. I remember the HMMWVs with Warlock systems jamming my radios as I was flying over.

Lmao, I'm sorry to admit this but the chinooks liked to fly over our barracks instead of around like they were supposed to so we would set the duke and sometimes it would cause their flares to deploy, they eventually got the hint.

I appreciate that more than words can ever express.

I hear you yeti, just like having the spats with the chinooks occasionally, I am here today because of cas, much respect to all who served.

I’ve heard rocks hitting. I believe they are either hitting the running boards or the skid plates.

I’m hoping different tires help but it doesn’t bother me much either way.
