May 23 Build Week Thread

I didn't see a thread for the May 23 people to hang out. I was May 16 for 8 hours on Apr14. I was bumped to May 23 that night. I have been dreading another Ford email.

That's because we're all in the May 9th build thread! Started May 9th, quickly went to May 16th then May 23rd. Soon to be June whatever.....

Fingers crossed this won’t turn into a July build week thread. For transparency to those tracking: confirmed order 12/4….crickets….”delay” email on 3/18….crickets….vin and 23 May schedule email on 4/14. Ordered a 401a with spray in bed liner, Torsen, 360 camera pkg, and tow tech pkg.

I just got a call from the dealer saying they have a production date of May 23rd. He was all excited to tell me the good news until i burst his bubble and told him i already had 2 other production dates lol. However, this is the first time the dealer has been notified, so maybe that means it'll actually happen for real this time!

Dealer just notified me if a may 23 production week. 401a, trailer tow and torsen. Let's hope it stays!

Was surprised it scheduled so fast, ordered on April 20th.

Seems like the 401As get scheduled way faster than the 402As.

I have a 401a on order with a May 2 build week. Checked the website and it’s changed from order confirmed to in production! But the price has gone up again. The dealer should honor the original price when ordered on 03/11/2022 correct?

Some dealers will, others won't. Mine told me when I put down the deposit and signed the order that I locked in that price no matter what. Others have had the dealers increase the price when they go to pick it up. There's a good thread about how it works on the Gen14 forums, essentially Ford reimburses the dealership that price difference when they sell it. Not all dealers know this. Some do know sell at the higher price and pocket the reimbursement (or at least that's the theory).

Was bumped in early June to Aug 1st, just got moved up to July 18th.

Getting nervous, gotta decide if I want this or stick with my 15 power stroke.
