Missing IP Cluster /HOLD.

I’m not sure which is worse, waiting for a complete truck; or waiting for a dealer to install my heated seats because the factory said ‘push it.’ Actually, I’d prefer it come to me with everything versus trusting a dealership. But thats my opinion.

Yeah you guys are right, then it will bother me all crap isn't on the truck. Thank you for talking some sense in to me sucks about your seat warmers. Any ETA?

Nah, I don’t have a GM. It’s what a client of mine was telling me about what working on them is like. He goes and hooks up to scan the vehicle and it says something’s missing so they go looking to see if they missed a plug or something. Turns out the car came without whatever module and the dealer will install them whenever they get them. He wasn’t too happy.

Just made my weekly call to Ford, no change to chip hold purgatory. Still have the 26 Sept-02 Oct fantasy ETA date. I imagine it will get pushed to November next week. I have a GMC AT4, dealer stock, reserved with my name on it . It is waiting to ship at the GMC Indiana plant. I will suck up the MSRP price if it shows up first. The new interior is very nice. I have no confidence if I get the F150 Ford will be able to supply parts under warranty in a timely manner. I have seen the stories from the PowerBoost guys that have bad heat exchangers. Making payments on a truck you can not drive would make me lose my mind.

GMC AT4 is a beautiful truck, cant go wrong there in terms of looks. My brother had terrible luck with GMC products so i avoid them but i know the same could be said for Ford based on youtube reviews. You get a 3 yr bumper to bumper warrant with the Tremor to iron out any issues but like you said, you might end up in a situation where the truck is in the shop for weeks/months and you are making a payment for nothing.

One guy i follow on youtube sold his 2021 F150 Tremor even though he loved it and swears no one should buy a Ford product built during the 2021-2022 period. He might be right but i do need a truck now so i don't really have a choice (unless i stumble across something used i really like).

edit: i am hoping when my F150 Tremor arrives i will love it. But i am also prepared for the bottom to be coated with rust, stereo to rattle, and all the other issues we see on the forum here.

Just got this Ford update again. Looks like it is going to be the AT4. I have owned four new Jeep Grand Cherokees. Only minor issues covered under warranty. The internet is full of Jeep horror stories! I guess I will give GM a try. The last GM product I owned was a 91 Z34 Lumina. If the AT4 sucks I can always order the refreshed Ram in MY24 with the new Hurricane 3.0 twin tubo.

My advice would be to stay off the forums as much as possible and just keep smashing muffins until it's delivered.

I'd gotten pretty discouraged with all the horror stories here and on the Gen 14 forum by the time mine was delivered (and I didn't wait nearly as long as some here). Truck is amazing and so far I'm enjoying it so much I hardly have any time to check the forums nowadays

I try to ignore horror stories for any product or service. Those with issues tend to be the one's posting and not so much the happy customer. Example, I'm planning on a new A/C for the house and my service company has 47 complaints on BBB. Some are resolved and others not. I thought about it and realized they probably handle more than 47 jobs in a single day, so only a tiny fraction of unhappy customers.

Sorry to hear man. I anticipate since our build dates are close I am in a similar holding pattern. On a positive note my wife and are are acclimating to one vehicle, thank God I work from home. Haha
