Morimoto 3rd Brake Light Leak

It doesn't have one of those plastic adhesive protectors on it, does it? It looks a bit like that at the far end. You know when you buy a new piece of electronics, there is a film or plastic that peels off.

Looks like me and Cblax got one from the same batch of lousy paint.
I reached out to American Trucks and they said it has a 5 year warranty, I hope that covers exterior and not just electrical.

Morimoto's warranty department was easy and fast to deal with. I actually masked off the light portion of mine and plastidipped the gloss black portion of mine as I wanted to be a satin black like the rest of the trim on the truck. But I'm OCD like that.

I decided to spray paint mine instead of plasti-dip, for whatever reason it wasn't sticking and i knew i didn't want it shiny against my satin wrapped roof. Cut out all weather foam for the liner instead of using the double sticky lining foam it came with and have had no problems so far.

For those with a leaky housing it looks like they have beefed up the gasket in newer shipments. I got mine replaced under warranty for bad paint and the new gasket inside is 2x thicker.
