MPG’s getting better by the month.

Not anymore. This was taken bone-stock. I've since gone up a tire size and lifted the front. The vehicle is heavier now and less aerodynamic. My combined is prob about 19.
Still very impressive.

This is what I got driving from Roswell, NM to Colorado Springs, CO yesterday. Total of 4 occupants, bed fully loaded with a Diamondback cover, running 91 octane.

Nice.
Right now and since I made this original posting, I’m at 21.7 MPG.

Bone stock, 2023 5.0 w/16K miles.....highest MPG seen was an indicated 20.9 MPG, on a 2 hour stretch of 60 MPH, 2 lane roads. Otherwise, I see anywhere from 14-16 MPG, indicated, in mixed driving.

I went on a 900 mile round trip and averaged 19.5 at 77 mph for most of it. A few slow downs and traffic around Chicago slowed me down. Actually for a lot of the trip i was averaging 20.5, but on the last leg it dropped a little. I know if I would have been running 70, it would have been even better.

I'm amazed. I always sit around 15 mpg for 18 months now. I'm not an aggressive driver, haven't changed anything mechanically or tires... I just don't have any highway driving. Making me think there's something wrong with my 23...

I run right in between 15 and 16, but I have a pretty heavy foot on accelerating from stop. LOLOLOL

I hand calculate each tank of gas, run Mid grade, and live at about 5k feet altitude. If I don't drive on the highway I get 14-16 MPG, and if I do a long highway road trip get like 17-17.5 mpg. Mine is the 3.5.

2023 tremor 5.0. 21k miles with magnaflow weld in muffler, and 2 inch front level. I’m currently avg 19mpg with mixed driving. I think the key is to keep rpm’s down as much as possible.

My 3.5 started at 17.2 mpg stock tires with a level. At 35k I was up to 21.8. After I put on the 185/75r18 I am getting 19.5 this blows my 2008 fx4 away I was getting 13mpg with the same 285/75r18 tires

My 3.5 tremor is in the body shop right now after a bad tbone……

Currently have a loaner lariat 5.0 2wd. I was so shocked how lethargic this thing is but last weekend I dumped in e85 prior to heading to the river in az…. Totally woke up the engine!!! I was shocked. Felt like e85 added in 50-75 hp.

Put her on cruise at 79, left at night, pulled 25mpg average until I hit the hills. Home to river she averaged 23.7. Basically equal numbers as my 3.5 but e85 was $3.10 a gallon.

Still wouldn’t go for the v8 but it’s been fun beating the living piss out of this thing on the corn😂.

How in the world are some of you with the 3.5 engine getting 20+mpg or anything above 17? What are your average speeds on highways?

After 25k miles, I've never seen mine go above 17.3. 70% of those 25k miles have been highway driving, using 91 and fully stock.

Over time, 55-60 MPH max is the sweet spot to get in the 20+ MPG range.
Also with the 3.5 EB remember this……you can have economy or you can have boost but you can’t have them both at the same time.

My 2024 3.5EB around the city is getting around 14.7 MPG. Not bad for the added preformance from my 2016 3.5EB

😆 Same. I've given up trying and settled in to 15-17mpg for my normal usage (93 octane). Similar to what @CAMDENN noted, I notice a steep drop-off beyond 65 mph; I'm generally at 75-80.

I drive 50-60mph most of the time where I live and have been getting 20mpg with my 3.5 engine. I have been using 93 octane for several tanks now. I feel like I have slightly increased fuel economy on the 93 but of course have to pay more for it.
