The title was not a misprint. I asked and asked for some honest answers from my dealership since January after I found an unauthorized charge on my paperwork (which they did refund/over 1,000 dollars) and just two days ago I text my salesman and finance manager that I was headed down to dealership to discuss face to face with them. I was told they no longer want to do business with me and I am trespassed and if I ever show up again they will have me arrested…
Well I’m well ahead of them as far as never going back to them as I chose another dealership for a repair (rear pinion seal) at around 1,700 miles and also a dealership without the “quick lane” centers which in my opinion are a ripoff. I let ford motor corporation know of this, and I surely hope they get something done about this.
You almost need an attorney these days to review paperwork with you I swear!

It sounds like during the finance bs that they do they included one or more things that you didn’t want but didn’t notice so they were included, and one of those things was a cosmetic warranty. Those things are pure BS so I understand you not wanting it. It also sounds like you signed a contract and are trying to get out of after noticing the charges, and the dealer is enforcing the contract.

And they at least offered the OEM extended warranty but I can’t tell if you purchased that or not. But if the contract is signed, the contract is signed and I don’t blame the dealership for enforcing it. My finance guy offered that and I showed him the Grainger price, which pissed him off and he was a dick after that. But I saved probably a couple of grand. And yes, they are prorated.

And also the 7 thousand dollar extended warranty they prorate from day one I was told. I asked hypothetically if I total lossed this truck within a year from an accident would I get all of that money back? They said no and it’s prorated. The ford warranty and not a 3rd party scam.

Not sure I’m grasping this. You don’t understand that warranties are prorated throughout the term? How do you think they work?
