On another note, picked up the replacement Tremor today. As I was leaving the dealership I commented to the manager that what happened was a shame and I assume you will continue on with the new engine claim. He told me that they will have a Ford zone rep stop by and look at the engine once it is torn down and make the determination from that point. Well, well I just happened to look at the dealerships used vehicle listings. The Tremor is listed as on the lot and available. Talk about unethical! They will sell the truck to someone who has no idea what has happened, the engine goes junk down the road, dealership has their money, and that poor person gets to start my nightmare all over again. How anyone could miss the engine knock on a test drive is beyond me but someone will purchase it eventually. I figured they would park the truck and put it on the used lot once the engine replacement was finished. I have come to the conclusion that there are zero honest car dealerships nowadays because the good ones have been bought out by huge corporations that don't care about anything but profits. Hopefully my F150 disaster is over with and I can enjoy my new truck like it should have been in the first place.
